So, our judges have been at work for the past few weeks, reviewing your books and figuring out what can help make you as an author better. I would like to give a figurative round of applause for those wonderful people.

Now, I will give you your scores and announce who has received superior ratings. Sadly, only three people can win.

The Romancing of Tuesday Dennings- AliceHausling

Grammar/Vocab: 23/25

Structure/Plot Line: 20/20

Character Development: 19/20

Descriptive Language: 14/15

Character Portrait: 11/15

Setting/Event Tracking: 17/20

Hook/Interest: 18/20

TOTAL: 122/135

Notes: The first three chapters are very intriguing, and kept me interested in the book. The insight on the two characters is very well placed, especially considering this is more a story of letters sent back and forth.

The way the two communicate with each other, and their grammar is amazing. It gives me the feel of a nineteenth century catalog of notes. Very well done.

A Girl Behind Books- ravenhall

Grammar/Vocab: 14/25

Structure/Plot Line: 17/20

Character Development: 16/20

Descriptive Language: 10/15

Character Portrait: 11/15

Setting/Event Tracking: 15/20

Hook/Interest: 14/20

TOTAL: 97/135

Notes: Your book kind of strays from the traditional structure of books, and that is something I like. Some of the grammar and word choice could be swayed and/or changed in some ways instead of sounding like people texting such as gawd, babygirl, etc. Maybe you could make it in italicize to make it more of thoughts?

Books Before Boys- powerfulforces

Grammar/Vocab: 18/25

Structure/ Plot Line: 18/20

Character Development: 17/20

Descriptive Language: 10/15

Character Portrait: 13/15

Setting/Event Tracking: 16/20

Hook/Interest: 17/20

TOTAL: 99/135

Notes: The paragraphs flow pretty easy, and I can get a pretty good guess at just what kind of person our MC is. Bitchy(in a good way). Some of the words can be switched with others, but you get that in pretty much any book. Well done.
