Follow the Judge(s) of your genre- If this does not happen, 5 points will be deducted. Judges, please keep this in mind.
Add this book to you Public AND Private lists- This is just to get word out about the competition, and ensure you know about any new updates or developments.
NO bullying- Bullying will absolutely NOT be tolerated. If I, or any of the admin or judges find out about bullying, you will be asked to leave the competition. When I say 'asked', I mean forced. You will also be reported. One more thing, there will be NO foul language used.
3 Chapters at the least- This does not include prologue and author's notes. I'm sorry, but if there are not sufficient enough chapters, your book will not be accepted into the competition.
5k reads at most- This competition is for the undiscovered writers out there who need to be known. You cannot enter unless you have under 5k reads.
Absolutely NO bribing- If I, or an admin get a report about this, you will be removed from the competition, and you will be reported to other competitions. I'm not trying to be rude, it's just not fair, because other competitions may have unfaithful judges.
1 book per category- You cannot submit more than one book per category. You also cannot submit the same book into more than one category. However, if you would like to submit more than one book, but in different categories; you may.
Do your job- If you are a judge or admin; please do your job-- Don't quit at the last second. It would be too difficult to find a replacement.
Changes? Inform me- If your username or cover changes, please let me know. This goes the same for judges. These things need to be known.
Password- The password will change every Friday. The password will ensure me that you read the rules. If the password is not used, your book will not be accepted. This week is Darkness.
English only- I have no way to translate your story to a language we can read it, so the book MUST be written in English to be accepted.
Tag your book- Please tag your book with the following: #SilentNightAwards2019. Don't worry if the capitals don't stay. This is only for reader's purposes. The tag makes it easier to find your book.
