Chapter 6: A Friendly Adventure

Me and Ellie decided to go on an adventure together. We started walking into the forest.
"So you and Freddie are a thing."
"Ye it's kind of a long story.
"I want to hear it." She sounded as if she really wanted to know how we met.
"Ok so we met eachother in year 7 and I had a crush on him for ages. I always wondered what he was like because we didn't speak to eachother back then. When the apocalypse started the first time I saw him was when I got bit by a zombie and he took me back to my base. Then I met him in th army and it was amazing."
I continued talking to her about it and she seemed very interested for some reason.
"Wow I ship you two."
I laughed I hadn't heard anyone say that in a long time.
"So what's your life been like since this all started."
She told me all about Joel and how close they were when she told me how he died I felt like I was going to cry but I didn't.
We kept on chatting until we reached a barn.
It didn't look like it had been invaded yet so we went inside.
It was wet and damp and then I heard a noise. It sounded like a neigh. It couldn't be. There were 3 horses standing together.
"Wow."
"Wow indeed."
We decided to take them home with us so each of us climbed on a horse and I lead the other horse behind me.
It was so much fun I though I was going to fall off at one point but it was an amazing experience and we both rided back to the school with our hair flying in the wind. I wanted it to last forever because I loved it so much. Maybe Ellie wasn't so bad after all.
