Santana settled in her seat on the plane to Florida. She had Lily sleeping against her chest and she held Brittany's hand, resting her head on her shoulder.
"I can't believe you actually booked this vacation, baby." Santana gushed in excitement, reaching up from her seat to kiss her wife.
"I'd do anything for you, you know that babe." Brittany
murmured, gently kissing the top of her wife's forehead. For Brittany, the feeling of holding her wife's hands, knowing that they're together, is more happiness than anything else could give her. It only seemed like a few weeks ago that they were in High school, Brittany craving the other girl's attention. At the time, little did she know that the other did the same.
"You know what's crazy?" Santana whispered, rubbing her thumb over the back of Brittany's knuckles. "We beat the odds, we were best friends, then girlfriends and now it's our five year wedding anniversary in three months... and this is the first time you've taken me to Harry Potter world." She giggled, waiting for Brittany's reaction to what she just said.
"I. Love. You. So. Fucking. Much." Brittany whispered, peppering her wife's face with kisses inbetween each word.
"And we really did beat the odds, didn't we." Britt smiled fondly, pulling her lover closer, if that was possible, yearning for the touch of her santana.
"We have a baby, Britt. We have our baby and we have this..." She gestured down to her rings on her left hand. "I didn't think that life would end up like this. After everything that happened with the advert about me, and my abuela, I didn't even think I'd make it past my senior year." She sighed, tilting Brittany's head so she could look into her eyes. "Thank you for loving me."
"That mashup we peformed, the adele one. I saw the glances you threw at me, the long, hurtful looks. It broke me, San. If i could I would of gathered you in my arms right there and then, but I was scared." Brittany's voice cracked.
"No please. Please don't." She whispered. "Jesus Britt, we're meant to be happy! Both of us are crying now!" She laughed through her tears, kissing her wife's knuckles.
"I know, I just love you so much words can't describe. And Lily, don't even get me started." Britt chuckled softly. Smiling at Lily, their Lily.
"I adore you. And Lily, I mean damn, she looks just like you, it's crazy." She giggled, smiling as the toddler started to wake up.
"Mama. Mommy. Is nap time over?" She asked, stretching out and yawning widely as the plane announced it was going in for landing.
"We have a few hours hon, but you can go back to sleep if you're still tired, my little dancer." Brittany smiled, threading her fingers through their daughter's blonde hair.
"I need cuddles." She decided, rubbing her eyes and smiling as she woke up, snuggling into Brittany with a huge grin on her face. "love you." She beamed up at her mommy and squeezed her in a tight hug.
Brittany gasped in mock horror. "What about mama? I'm flattered that you love me, but don't let mama feel left out."
"I slept on mama." She shrugged. "Now it's mommy time!" She giggled, starting to get excited at the fact they were on vacation.
"I know you love me, mi amor, and I love you very much." Santana smiled, letting Lily have some time to snuggle with her mommy before they got off of the plane.
Their plane had landed and they just recieved their luggage back, they left the main part of the airport and retreated to a bench on the side, outside a coffee shop. Brittany always had a thing with airports, she loved the atmosphere.
"Hey, Britt..." Santana whined, giving her puppy eyes as they waited for their taxi. Lily was attempting to do pirouettes next to the bench that they were sat on, the tiny girl was full of energy.
"Yes, honey?" Brittany asked, curious at what her wife could want.
"Can we take Lily straight there so that she can get sorted?!" She nodded, picking up their daughter after she fell out of her turn.
"We do have to check into the hotel first babe, but after that we'll go straight there" Britt smiled.
"Okay and then we can get her new robes because hers are getting too small." She beamed, picking Lily up and getting into the taxi, ignoring Brittany's hand that was held out for her to hold. She was so excited to be there that she didn't ever realise her wife's gesture. Brittany just shook her head and laughed at how buzzed her wife was, Lily even giggled at her mama too.
The family pulled up to the hotel and the two women quickly grabbed their bags, hurrying through check ins. Lily raced around the hotel, gloriously exclaiming how the whole place was like some kind of maze. They opened the doors to their room and Santana squealed when she could see the Hogwarts castle from their window.
"Come on, baby girl, let's go get you sorted!" Santana squealed and grabbed Brittany's hand, scooping up their daughter and getting ready to leave their room.
