Sarah's POV
I start crying uncontrollably into my pillow as I hear my phone go off.
A text from Hayes:
Hayeseypoo😍: Don't worry, your mom won't pull us apart. Be at the front of your house at 8:00pm sharp. Wear something nice.
Me: Okay.
"What is he thinking of doing?" I speak to myself, actually a little worried.
Well, I still have some time before I need to get ready, but I should probably take a shower and start doing my hair. I quickly hop in the shower, washing off all the negativity from my body, about 10 minutes later, I get out, dry off and put on a plain white tee and some sweat pants.
I blow dry my hair and turn on my curling iron. I put my hair in big loose curls and bobby pin a little strand of hair onto the side of my head and do the same to the other side. I join the two strands of hair together with a white lace bow on the back of my head.
By now, its 7:30pm so I decide to do my makeup: Nude eye shadow, cat eyeliner, and some shiny light pink lip gloss. I get my "Nice" outfit and try it on: A 50's style white knee-length dress with black polka-dots on it, some black All-Star converse, a white shoelace bracelet, and some diamond stud earrings. I finish it off by putting on my favorite perfume: "Angel" by Theirry Mugler.
Finally, 8:00pm, I quietly walk downstairs and see my mom passed out on the couch. I grab my house key and quickly leave before my mom could wake up.
I waited in front of my house for about 30 seconds before a very well-dressed Hayes came walking up the driveway.
"Well hello there Hayes Grier, what do you have planned for tonight?" I question, playing with my bracelet.
"Hello to you too, Sarah Harding, what we have planned for tonight is a surprise that I cannot tell anyone, especially you," He smirked pulling me into a hug.
We start walking down the driveway, hand-in-hand,
"So, babe, why can't you tell me where we are going?" I ask, hoping he will finally reveal the secret destination.
"Because then, it wouldn't be a surprise now, would it?" Hayes chuckled as we continued walking.
"I guess..." I say with a large sigh following after.
