Dancing Queen

I walked in the classroom, looked in the corner of my eye, and met eye-to-eye. I thought I was blushing at first, but I wasn't, I quickly sat down in my seat.

He whispered "Hey, wanna grab a bite to eat after school?" as he breathed on my neck.

I answered " I can't, I have to study for a quiz and do some homework." as I lied through my teeth about going to dance pratice.

He replied looking at me with his hasel eyes that I just can't resist "Okay, see you later." as he leaned and kissed me on the cheek while we left class. I blushed and my cheeks turned rosy red on my caramel skin.

 I went toward the car loop dressed in my dance clothes waiting for my older sister, Rachel. Rachel comes up to me dangling the car keys in my face, which she might as well brag about getting her car keys over the summer, (which she already did when she first got them).

"Hey, you were suppose to take me to dance class 10 minutes ago." I said with my hand on hip, pointing at my white fancy watch with the Eiffel Tower on it that I got over the summer.

"Do you have the keys?" she said putting her hand behind her ear pretending to listen "I didn't think so." as swirling around her finger like a disco ball.

Rachel dropped me off at my dance class, I quickly ran to the door, but the class already started. I stayed after class to do my stretches, but the dance teacher, Ms.Long, wanted to talk to me.

"Lily, you know the recital is coming up and I want you to make a dance, grab some dancers, and teach them the dance for the recital." she said waiting for an answer.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, Ms.Long wanted me to make a dance for her recital. I have dreamed about making a dance for one of Ms.Long's recitals.

I answered " Yeah, I can make a dance for your recital and you won't be disappointed." as ran toward the door.

Ms.Long replied with a smirk on her face from my reaction "I know."
