My eyes were closed the whole time and I had no idea where he was taking me, but finally he told me "Now look."

We were both standing on the football field with a picnic set up, we walked toward the picnic that he set up. I sat down, smiled, and I was almost about to cry, but I looked up at him and said "You did this for me?"

He nodded and replied "Actually, the team helped out," as we spotted them from the corner waving at us "I thought that we could finally spend some time together because my football and your dance classes has gotten in the way of our relationship." I leaped up and gave him the biggest hug and I started crying on his shoulder.

He wrapped his arms around my waist and said to me quietly "There is more, ...look inside the picnic basket." I let go of him for a minute while he slowly releases me, I sat back down, opened the basket, and saw a little note. The note says:

Lily, I think you are the nicest, prettiest, funniest girl I have ever met and I love being with you.I want you to know that I think you are one of a kind and you are my only 'good luck charm'.You are not like any other girl I have ever met before and I know it is a little early to ask, but since it isthe last week of October, ....will you go to the dance with me. - William

"So,...will you?" he asked with an adorable face tilted to the side kneeling next to me.

"Yes." I said in a crackly voice with a smile on my face with tears going down the side of my cheeks and I kissed him on his soft lips and stopped.

"Nobody has done this for me before, thank you so much." I said looking up at him leaning on his chest.

"Your Welcome." he replied as he kisses the top of my head .

He walks me to my doorstep and kisses my cheek and whispers in my ear  "Good night, see you next week 'good luck charm'" sending chills down my body hearing his words making me melt.

I slowly opened the door and stepped inside, glanced at him before shutting it and replied "Good night, superstar." as I shut the door and slide my back against the door and landing on my bottom waiting for the weekend to fly by.
