"Mom, you will never believe what happened today at dance class." I said with excitement as I stood in the kitchen waiting for her answer.
"You got to do a split in front of the class?" My mom asked with a smile on her face.
"No," I replied "Ms.Long asked me if I could make a dance for her recital." as I jumped up and down as if I won a $1,000,000 dollars.
"Well, what did you say?" she asked wating for me to answer.
"I said 'yes' of course," I replied "I have never made a dance for her in my entire life, but the recital is just a month away." as I looked around thinking about it.
"When is it?" My mom asked as she washed the dishes and put them inside the dishwasher.
"It's in December, it's called the 'Winter Recital'." I said making an arch with my hands in the air imagining words.
"Hey, isn't your school have a dance in December," she asked with a smirk on face and knew she was going to ask about 'you know who'.
"Hey, isn't Will going to ask you?" as she walked toward the laundry room. When I heard her ask, I thought I my cheeks were turning into the color of a tomato, but I didn't. Will barely has time for me anyways ever since football started. Will always tries to find time for us to spend together and at least I know he is trying.
"I don't know if he is going ask me, but the dance for school is actually in November." I corrected her while walking away from her slowly.
I slowly walked to my room thinking about Will.
I heard my mom from upstairs she said "Don't forget about dinner!" as her voice faded away as she started cooking.
I couldn't stop thinking about him. Will has a football game this Friday and I usually go to his games after my dance classes. He always calls me his 'good luck charm', but sometimes I wonder, if it's true anymore.
