This is for my dear friend and follower, Gabby_HemmingsFreed. Love you, girly xoxo. :) You are the sun and stars!! Keep shining!!

"Evan Jackson Hemmings, if you don't give your sister her amp back I'm coming up those stairs and you won't like the results!" You yell up the steps to your son. You here his grumbling as he mopes over to your oldest child's room with her guitar amp that he had 'borrowed.'
"Thanks, Mum," Cassie bounded up the stairs, retreating once again to the solitude of her room.
Teenagers."Muuummy!" you here a wail from the other room and you sigh as you walk out. Your youngest daughter, Lilly, playing with her dolls on the living room carpet.
"What's the matter, Darlin'?" You ask.
"Where Daddy?" she looks up at you with her big blue eyes that are identical to her father's. You smile as she crawls into your lap.
"Daddy will be home soon, baby girl."
"Mum, Uncle Mikey said he'll help me dye my hair tomorrow. Which color should I do? Lime Light or Fired Up?" your fifteen year-old son asked holding up two color cards.
"Evan, so help me, if I see your hair any color beside it's original blonde, I will ground you for a month. Do you hear me?" You stand and put one hand on your hip as you carry Lilly into the kitchen to finish dinner. You hear him mumble something under his breath as he trudges, back to his room. "I can make it two months if I hear you complain about it!" you call after him.
"What's with all the yelling?" a deep voice asks behind you.
"DADDY!!" Lilly threw herself into her father's waiting arms, giggling excitedly. Luke took her smiling widely.
"How's my Flower doing?" He cooed, rubbing his nose with hers. You smile as you watch your three year old laugh at her daddy's weird little faces that he makes just for her. After a moment, he turns to you and kisses you hello. You wrap your arms around his neck until you hear a gagging noise by the door. You pull away to see Evan stifling a laugh as Michael mimed being sick.
"Michael Clifford, you have some explaining to do!" you point your finger at him, doing what the boys called your mother voice. "Why are you telling my son that he can dye his hair?!"
"Relax, Gabberduck," Michael brushed it off, using the nickname he had for you since the day you met him (you had been wearing duck socks and somehow the name stuck). "I'm the cool uncle and need to let him rebel sometimes."
You throw your hands in the air in frustration, turning back to your husband. He tried to hide his smile but it didn't work. You glared at him, hands on your hips.
"Mummy mad," Lilly whispered loudly to Luke. You heard Michael snort in laughter and you couldn't help but crack a smile.
"Dad dad dad dad!!" thundering footsteps on the stairs announced the appearance of Cassie, your seventeen year-old daughter. "Dad, I fixed the song we've been writing! I figured out the chords for the chorus!" she exclaimed ecstatic. She jumped up and down in joy.
"Well let's hear it!" Luke followed her up the stairs quickly. You finished prepping the food and joined the others upstairs.
As you stood in the doorway, you watched as Luke danced around with Lilly to the song Cassie played on her guitar. Evan and Michael were doing the backup air guitar and drums. You smiled to yourself. This is where you belonged. This is Home.
Luke turned and caught your eye. He made his way over to you, setting you baby girl on the floor to play with her siblings. He wrapped his strong arms around you and you couldn't help but think of all the times you've done this when you two were young. He kissed you sweetly and turned to watch your family.
"Love of my life," you whispered.
"My sun, moon, and stars," he murmured back with a smile. Life is perfect.
