"ʰⁱˢ"
---

Connor stared deep into me. It... seemed like it didn't want to respond to me? Soon the Android flickered it's eyes and cracked a little smile.

"Yes, hello. I've been expecting to meet you." Connor said.
"How come Hank never knew?" I asked and tilted my head.

Connor stayed silent for a moment, before answering:
"He was indeed informed, but I can't reassure you he remembered it."

I nodded, and offered to open the door for Connor. The Android walked past me, and I closed the door it getting perfectly shut after me. I could see Hank accross the department, looking rather relieved when I finally found his Android.

"Jesus Christ Connor, where have you been?" Hank groaned. He spoke loudly, enough for everyone to hear. I noticed detective Reed peeking from the side of the break room.

He had an unpleasant kind of grin on his face as he turned around back to his friends to talk about something.

"I was having a converstation with detective Reed and exploring the department. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be unpleasant." Connor said, who's face was blank while the Lieutenant was steaming with both frustration and just being tired.

"For your luck, I got (Y/N) to find me. Was there anything I could possibly assist you with?" Connor continued.

"Uh, oh yeah, um- her... Agh, no shit I'm going for a bite. Today was enough of this I need a break." Hank flew around with his hands until gave up wand walked away.

Me and Connor looked at eachother for a moment until we walked out. His chocolate brown eyes seemed to be sparkly even though there wasn't much light to be hit by.

I was overthinking and decided to just move to my next objective.

---Time Skip---

It was now later in the eveing.
We had all been sitting in Lieutenant's car for the past 10 to 15 minutes until we stopped. We stood out to a quiet street with a food truck on the other side.

Connor looked like he had been there before, as he didn't question anything or didn't seem to scan around.

I on the other hand tried to collect as much information as possible to reassure that any safety hazards weren't suspected. I waited around and tapped my feet to the cold, wet street.

Hank was having a pleasant converstation with the food truck owner and other customers. Me and Connor didn't do much, just looked around in the evening rain. Our eyes meet for a second, and both of us smile it away.

I doze off to my program and go through any files, objectives, notes, news - basically whatever was in hand. It covered my whole view and I just let myself stand in the rain.

I was alarmed again once I felt a gentle touch on my shoulder. It was warm, but not quite in the humanoid way. I closed all my applications to see Connor holding his hand on my shoulder.

He looked at me for a minute before speaking up; "Is your program active? Good. Please come with us."

I nodded, and walked to a little table where Hank was already standing. Connor didn't let go of my shoulder until we reached the table.
