CHAPTER THREE - NUMBER FIVE

"i've been in this house for a few hours and something crazy happens already?!" lilith shouts, annoyed as she storms out on the courtyard. but then she staggers as she sees the  blue ripple on the sky in the middle of their courtyard

"what is it?" vanya asks as she took a step forward, but lilith pulls her back. "hey! i don't want you blues skidooing in the damn thing!"
lilith yells as she puts a protective arm around vanya

"looks like some sort of temporal anomaly," luther said. "either that or a miniature black hole. one of the two."

"gee thanks for the insight, neil degrasse tyson!" lilith mocks luther, getting a glare from the man himself

"out of the way!" klaus yelled from behind them as he pushed his way to the front.

"klaus? what are you doing with that-" lilith's query was cut short as klaus attempts to defeat the black hole with a fire extinguisher
"oh my god i didn't think you lost all your braincells from drugs!" she yells at klaus, forcefully gripping his arm and pulling him beside her

"what is that gonna do?" allison asks

"i don't know," klaus confesses, "do you have a better idea?"

before lilith could throw another insult his way, the ground shakes

"whoa, whoa, whoa," luther yelled "everyone get behind me!" "yeah, get behind us," diego counters, both of the men fighting for authority, therefore sandwhiching the other siblings, much to lilith's annoyance

"will you two stop one upping each other and actually i don't know- lead?!" at this point lilith's patience was reaching its limit with her siblings

"i vote for running, c'mon!" lilith looked up at the blackhole and sees a midde aged man, however if she squinted her eyes and took a closer look, she'd see his face changing.
and she knew that face

lilith covers her mouth to prevent a gasp, she grabs the sleeve of klaus' jacket and tugs it lightly "d-do you see what i see?" she asks him

she didn't need an answer, his silence was all she needed to know

the thing in the sky dissapears, and just moments after it does, a young boy lands on the pile of leaves before the hargreeves siblings

they all slowly start to walk up to him, none of them willing to separate from each other

"does everyone else see a little number five, or is that just me?"

the boy stands up, he wore a tuxedo that was pretty much to large for him and in other circumstances lilith would hit him for wearing one in beige, but really it wasn't the time

he brushes off the leaves that had stuck to his tuxedo. the boy looks up and eyes each of the siblings carefully

"shit" five mutters

the hargreeves siblings all watched in utter shock and confusion as five paced around the kitchen, grabbing the neccesities needed for his marshmallow sandwhich
