Miles' POV:

My family just moved here in Amsterdam and today is also my first day at Amsterdam University College. My father is a well-known business man all over the world. My dad have been planning of expanding his business here since last year and now we're here. My mom is always busy managing our restaurant and my younger sister is always busy doing her vlogs.

Enough of that. I'm more focused on my studies and on influencing the good vibes to other people. I was always been this cheerful since my childhood. They said that I must spread some love and happiness to others so they would be motivated.

But as time passes by, I felt like something's missing. I could feel the loneliness as it slowly fills my entire body. So instead of overthinking, I stroll around the neighborhood before going to school. As I walk further, I saw this girl sitting and crying on the sidewalk. She seems to be down and broken. I could tell that her heart shattered into pieces. But as I look into her heart, it feels like she could be the missing piece who'll complete me as a whole.

She was staring at me so I smiled. But she pretended not to see me. If I see her again, I would do anything to get to know her.

I went back home and quickly fixed myself then our driver drop us at the University.

This is my first day in Amsterdam and in this University. God be with me.

I was a bit early so I just went straight to our home room and sat in the corner. Some of my block mates were there and we had short chit-chats. Until a girl entered the room and you could see how surprised she was looking at the girls who seemed to be really famous in the whole campus.

I don't know what's going on but they seemed to know each other. If they really know each other, why are they quarreling?

At that time, I wanted to stood up for the girl but something is stopping me to do it. It might not be the right time and I am a stranger to her. That must make her feel uncomfortable.

This girl, I saw her crying on the street earlier. She pretended not to see me there but here, I can't believe we're in the same room.

Don't worry girl, I'll protect you for the rest of my life.

She left as soon as the class ended and I immediately followed. She walked so fast that I had lost sight of her. I was looking for her in every corner of the campus and I suddenly bumped into a girl in the hallway. It was her, right in front of me. She looked like she cried again. But I smiled and introduced myself.

"Hi, I'm Miles! The guy who'll put smiles on your beautiful face." I reached out my hand asking for a handshake.

It was quite embarrassing. This was the first time I felt my heart beating so fast, I couldn't explain what this feels. All I know is, I want to keep her company.

"Oh.. hey! I'm Lou and I got to go."

Before I could even asked her for a walk, she was already out of my sight. She even refused to handshake. This is just the beginning Lou, I'm not giving up on you.

The next day, I saw her again. This must be fate. She was sitting outside the convenient store. I walked towards her and before I could even say a word, she apologized for what happened yesterday. We had a short chat. I thought she was going to ignore me but thanks to guardians above she didn't.

We walked together going to the university. As we walk through the campus, we completely caught the attention of the people around us. I could feel her embarrassment so I told her,

"Don't worry, Lou. I got you, trust me."

She nodded as a sign of reply.

Everything is going so fine between us. I'm gaining her trust and I wouldn't do anything to break that. As soon as the class ended, Stacey approached me and asked to grab some coffee. I looked at Lou, she was fixing her things then I looked back at Stacey and nodded.

I told her to meet me at the Coffee Shop at 3 pm.

"Lou, would it be okay if we meet at 5 pm? I just had to do something." I told her before leaving the campus.

"No worries." she replied.
