One Less Lonely Girl

What if?

Lou's POV:

I'm sitting outside the convenient store then suddenly a guy went in front of me and it was Miles. I really don't know what to say and before I could got up, he was sitting down already. I don't know what to do when what happened yesterday cross my mind. I apologize before he could even speak.

Come on Lou! What's with you lately? He'll only hurt you in the end. Don't bother to apologize.

"I'm sorry for what happened yesterday. I.. I didn't mean to-"

"It's okay." he smiled.

The conversation went on. I think his kind.

"Uhm, maybe we should go now? Class is starting soon."

I laughed a little.

"Oh yes. Time runs so fast when you're happy."

Everything seems to be fine. But after class Stacey asked Miles to grab some coffee. I don't know why I am feeling this but I had a thought on my mind, he would choose her over me. They're all like that. Once they meet someone better, they'll forget you.

I walked going home, alone as usual. But before I could even got inside my house, someone voiced my name. It was Miles. He came.

"Lou!" he shouted. "I'm sorry, I'm a bit late."

"No, it's okay." I thought you wouldn't come.

"Can we come to school together, more often? Like, everyday?"

"What?"

"Well, if it's okay with you."

"Uhm.. okay."

"I'll see you then."

"See you."

I never felt that in my entire life. What is this weird feeling? My heart, it's beating so fast. I could feel the butterflies that fill my stomach. Is this love? Happiness?

( alarm clock rings )

I woke up early to get ready for school. I can't explain this feeling. I changed my outfit, fixed my hair, put make up on, and sprayed some perfume. This is the first time I had a make over. I actually had a hard time fixing myself. I don't know why am I doing this but all I know is I want to look good when I'm with Miles. Plus, I don't want to embarrass him in front of other people.

( Miles knocking on the door )

"Coming!"

"Wow! You look different."

"Is it bad? Should I change?"

"No! I mean you look great."

"Really? Thank goodness."

"Actually you really don't have to change yourself just so others could accept you. The real people who loves you, accepts you with all your flaws."
