Round 2: Troll in the Dungeon!

It's the night of Halloween, and frankly the feast was looking fantastic. You sit with your friends, quietly munching on some mouth-watering delicacies, when suddenly....

"TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!!!!!" Filch shouts, bursting into the great hall, trenchcoat billowing behind him. The great hall is abuzz with whispers, but all you can think is one thing: somebody is missing.

Your Task:

This round, you must write about your character's search for this missing student. You MUST encounted the troll at some point, although your character does NOT have to be the one to deal with the little guy, so long as you say what happened to the troll.

You have COMPLETE freedom with your entry, so long as you find out where that missing person is, how they became missing (it could have been you, you troublesome student!), and what happens to them and the troll.

*The missing person DOES NOT have to be another student. It could be a professor, the headmaster, your own character, or another student.

RULES:

1. If your entry contains swearing or violence or anything that you think warrants a warning, please include a warning at the beginning of your entry.

2. You may adventure around the castle and defeat the troll with other contestants, as long as you check with them that it’s okay.

3. Be respectful and all that nice stuff. If your character is a mean character, please check with the other writers before you insult their characters… some might not be as comfortable with that as others.

4. You must include tracking down the student, what happened to them, and what happens to the troll. You could even be the one who let the troll in, if you wanted, so long as you find that student and reach some sort of resolution.

5. Pretty much restating rule #4, your character can have ANY role in this prompt that you like, so long as the task is completed (the task being finding that pesky somebody and figuring out what to do with the troll).

**NOTE: Entries are due on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th, by 11:59 PM, mountain time (look for Edmonton-ish time... that's usually pretty accurate).

At the end of this round, the four contestants with the lowest number of points will be expelled.

If you do not submit your entry, you will be docked five points from your total unless you have given us a good reason as to why you were unable to complete the challenge (good reasons are pretty much anything other than "I forgot" and "I didn't feel like it").
