I didn't feel like going to school and I knew I didn't really have to, nobody would notice, even though it was rated one of the best schools in Moss Hill (the 'richer' side of town to live in), but here I was showered, dressed in jeans and a jumper and straightening my dark wavy hair, attempting the 'normal school girl' look. I preferred blending in.

Once I was done straightening my hair I crept down the wooden stairs and out of the front door before my dad could even get up from the sofa. I still hadn't talked to him since the incident with the mop. I don't intend to either, I hadn't seen my brother in a few days either because he worked extra hours, I wish he didn't though, he would protect me from everything and I just wanted him to come home already.

I hauled my heavy school bag further onto my shoulder and started to walk to school, it only takes me about 30 mins to walk there but I was so tired that I walked slowly putting in my earphones whilst going across the neighbourhood.

I was listening to You Me At Six when i saw a tall Shadow on the floor beside me, I looked up to see Joe with his mouth moving but i couldn't here what he was saying. I yanked out my earphones 'What?' I asked smiling up at him.

'I knew you weren't listening!' He laughed.

'Sorry, You Me At Six are more my type than random strangers.'

Joe looked at me with a dramatic hurt expression and put his hand over his heart.

'Seriou-.' I started before being cut off by a loud roaring sound from behind us, a huge black motorbike came past us, over the speed limit in my opinion!

'Hooligan.' I said rolling my eyes.

'My brother.' Joe snapped.

'Ahh, sorry, I was just kidding.'

'hmm, it's alright, ha, he is a hooligan.'

'Wait where are you going?' I suddenly realised he was walking with me and I was going to school.

'Same place you are, same place he is.'  I had never seen Joe at school before, he must be a few years older than me at least, he definitely didn't look 15.

'School?' I asked bewildered.

'err, yeah,' he smiled 'You think I was just stalking you or something?'

'Welll,' I teased 'What year are you in?'

' The same year as you, you fool.' I was totally confused, I had never seen him there before, maybe I had just not been paying attention. 'You look confused.' He stated.

'Sorry, I just, I have never seen you there before?'

'You haven't been paying much attention then. I'm in most of your classes, Bio, Math...'

This wasn't ringing any bells..

'You probably never really noticed me, I prefer to have the 'bad' reputation but blend into the background.'

'I'm Sorry.' I laughed 'I do the same.'

We were nearing the school gates now and I could already hear girls screaming, gossiping everything school offers. I also found myself getting nervous though, what would people think of me, the girl who has no friends, walking with the most gorgeous guy I have ever met, into school!!

Joe obviously sensed my stiffness and stopped before we went through the gates. 'What's wrong? Don't want to be caught walking with a weirdo stranger?' He smirked.

'It's not that, it's just, I...' I struggled.

'I's okay, I get it' He half smiled and started off into the car park.

'Wait,' I smiled when he turned around 'I didn't mean it like that, I don't mind walking with a possible crazy-ass murderer.'
