Chapter 8- ICCA

Today was the day of the International Championship of the Collegiate A Cappella , it is a competition between different colleges of a region. Bellas and Treblemakers were all set for their performances. They both wanted to win.

Bella's Dressing Room
A- Everyone ready??
S- Yes
A- Everyone will do perfectly as we practiced.
Naira was still not liking the idea of singing the same song again that they sang last year but unwillingly she has to accept it

They come to the backstage. Anjali forwards her hand and asks others to keep her hand too
A- You'll sing aaaaa on 3
A- 1 2
Some girls-aaaaaa
A- 3
Rest of the girls-aaaaaaa
G- Do we have to sing it on 3 or after 3
S- On 3
N- After 3
A(frustrated) - Let it be Bellas we'll sort it out afterwards, now let's do it
Host-H

H- So put your hands together for the Bellas
They come on the stage and sang what they have prepared, it was remix of many songs which they have prepared and layered them together.
After the performance was done, there was not much excitement shown from the audience.

After them the treblemakers sings. There performance was pretty impressive.

H- so the results are:
3- Sockappella
2- Bellas
1- Treblemakers

These three teams qualified for the second round to compete with another teams selected from different region.

Next Day

Naira was going towards her class, suddenly Kartik comes from behind and tickles her
N- heheheheh kartik hehehehe nooo hehehehehe
She holds his hand , he pulls her towards him. Her back hits his chest. Kartik whispers in her ear

K- So Miss Tigress lost the competition. It's ok i don't care

Naira tries to get out from his grip, but he was not letting it go. Suddenly they see a professor coming. Kartik immediately leaves her.
After the professor passes
N- Hahaha got scared hahahah you can only do tar tar tar like frog
K- Oh really
N- Yes hahaha
Kartik gets mesmerized seeing her smiling face
N- Oh frog!!!! Are u in this world??
K- nope
N- I thought so
Then Naira checks her watch and gets shocked
N- OH MY GOD!!!!!
K- what happened
N- we're late run.....

They ran to the class and found the class empty. They were confused. Suddenly they hear a BHARRRRG!!
Naira and Kartik both shout and hug each other.

They hear a laugh and sees that Naksh and gayu were laughing. They understood what happened
N- Gayu u
K- Seriously Naksh
Na & G- We were just having fun
K- That nearly gave me a heart attack
Na&G- Ok sorry
N- No prbs but where is the professor
G- oh today he is on leave so we have free time
K- Great
N- Finally
Na- Guys we need to tell you something
N- You both you mean
G- Yes actually Naksh and Me are a couple now

Both Gayu and Naksh shares a side hug

K&N- What!!!
Na- are u guys not happy
K- I'm happy just a little shocked
N- I'm happy too but what about anjali think
G- Don't scare me
N- I'm not
G- You know what if she wants to throw me out she can because we are not enjoying , she only does what she wants
N- Ya nothing new only that crappy old song
K- That's your problem you have to deal with
Na- But for now let's go out and grab something
G- Ya why not
N- yup
K- Let's go
