"Your a girl!?!" The princess responded in shock. Her jaw dropped open.
"Yes, is that really a shocker? I know it's odd but, a girl could be in the royal guard as well!"
The princess started at her in aw for a few seconds. "Your beautiful" she said finally
The knight turned a shade of pink "thank you your highness" she bowed
"Uhh no need for that your my protector, not my servant" she said. "gosh I probably sound stuck up when I say stuff like that?" Thought sen. "What's your name? I mean it's kinda improper to ask but, so is everything else in this situation!" sen laughed
"My name is valiry, your highness" valiry felt awkward not knowing what to do besides bow so she stood there "oh the kingdom of the high mountains said that they would hide you in their village. we should probably get you into some.. more normal looking clothes, sen"
Sen laughed "yeah I don't think a woman in a decorative nightgown,wool sleep shoes, and a silk robe would blend in to well"
"No not most likely" valiry said she then looked down at her outfit "mine probably isn't amazing for 'blending in"
Both the girls hopped onto horseback and road out of the woods.
As they entered the village the princess hid in her cloak. The people gawked, mostly at the knight because it seemed unusual.
They walked into a small clothing shop both sticking out like sore thumbs.
A young pixie walked over. He looked about 16. "Need a change of clothes? We offered some for free scenic before the war of the dark clan broke out to veterans" valiry nodded
He came back with some plain brown and shades of tan clothes one pair of simple but neat pants. The other was a white dress with a tea stained fabric to cover it up. like a simple corset attached to a skirt.
They walked into a changing room sen slipped on the white dress and struggled with the cover up "valiry could you help?" Valiry walked over "of course your highne- Or sen"
She walked over her hands loosely wrapped around her waist causing sen to blush
Valiry hands roamed up her back lacing her dress
"There!" Valiry folded her arms feeling accomplished sen looked in a mirror "I've never dressed so.. plainly, it feels nice for a change"
Valiry quickly changed into her pants it made her dark skin look nice because the color compliments it.
