Note: Since Kaede's birthday was yesterday, this chapter is extra long!

Kaede: Shuichi and I are headed there now.

Miu: Hurry! Everyone is here already!

Kaede: How many are there...?

I sighed as I stuffed my phone in my handbag glancing at my driver. A week passed by and after that Saturday of us...hanging out, Shuichi started acting weird. Sometimes when we walked side by side and our fingers brushed, he would jump and distance himself looking away. I also noticed that we met eye contact more often and we would just stare at each other, but then he would blush and look away. I thought we eased all of the tension at his house, but I guess not. "Are we late?"

"A little. Sorry, Shuichi." He smiled shaking his head.

"Don't worry about it. You needed to get ready. You look nice, by the way." I blushed softly gripping onto the rim of my dress.

"Thank you." Shuichi parked close to a large building that had lights flaring out of it and music loud enough to cause the ground to shake. "I have a feeling there are a lot of people here..." As we walked to the front gate, I was amazed by the number of people chatting and dancing on the yard. There were people jumping on trampolines, a couple boys tossing a football around, and a man serving drinks at a stand. "Rich kids..." I murmured. We opened the door and the music blasted into our ears. The entire house was completely filled with dancing teenagers and the smell was a mixture of alcohol and perfume. Shuichi and I looked at each other, then shrugged smiling.

"Let's go find the others." Pushing through the crowd, I noticed a door leading to the backyard. When I was just a few feet away, I felt someone bump into me.

"Oh, I'm sorry." I looked up and saw a tall-skinny boy with green hair.

"Are you okay?" I nodded which caused him to smile before leaving. That was weird. Once Shuichi opened the door, we spotted Miu and everybody else.

"Kaede and Shuichi are here!" They all ran up and hugged us.

"Miu, you didn't tell me you were inviting the whole school."

"It's Miu, did you expect anything less?" Mikan asked. We all laughed and got some drinks from one of her hired bartenders. "So how did you manage to hire them?"

"My uncle owns a bunch of bars! Don't worry, we won't get in trouble." Shuichi passed me a drink and we all gathered in a circle.

"To Miu!" Kaito cheered and we all clasped cups, but before the cup touched my lips I smelled alcohol and immediately put it away. Shuichi noticed and gave me a concerned look. Everyone else swallowed their drinks laughing amongst each other.

"Is everything okay, Kaede?"

"Yeah! I'm just hungry, so I'll drink later." He nodded and finished the rest of his cup. "I didn't know you drink, Shuichi."

He blushed looking away. Did I offend him? "Kaede you didn't finish your drink! Here, I got you." Kokichi grabbed my cup and drank the rest of it.

"This boy is definitely drunk," Tenko commented.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of him," Kaito replied.

"Let's play beer pong!" We all headed towards the table and set up the cups. Miu got a bunch of beer cans and filled them to a quarter of the way. "Okay, how about me, Tenko, Maki and Kaito on one team and Kokichi, Shuichi, Kaede, and Mikan on the other?"

"Oh, I'll pass. I'm not a fan of beer pong," I said.

"Same. I'll also just referee this," Maki stated. Miu pleaded, but we both denied. I wasn't sure of Maki's reason, but I definitely could not drink any alcohol. The game started and Miu's team seemed to be in the lead. Kokichi's aim was horrible because he was drunk and Mikan was just bad at aiming overall. At the end, both teams needed just two more cups. Kaito scored the first but missed the last shot, and Shuichi managed to throw the two balls into the cups to win for his team. Shuichi was strangely good at beer pong. We all cheered while Miu was lecturing Kaito for missing.
