It had been a about three month since the group left the school, they all realized that they wouldn't be able to survive another winter in the school, so they all opt to take a vote and see who wanted to leave and who didn't, the majority of them wanted to leave and find a better place to stay. After Clementine left three years ago Violet had become a leader again, taking on the role with surprising grace. After Clementine left Violet changed, she became more closed off, like she was after Minervia had 'died' and before Clementine was with them.
"Are we there yet?" Louis asked for the....actually Violet lost count of how many times he had asked. They had been walking for days, their last meal was two days ago, they hadn't slept properly in at least a week, Violet understood why Louis was asking but it was pissing her off. She finally understood what it was like for Clementine, why she was so heartbroken when they had kicked out.
"Louis, we don't even know where we're going, so stop asking." Violet finally snapped, she turned her head to look at him and glare at him causing him to shrink under her gaze.
"Alright, jeez, sorry." He mumbled under his breath.
Before anything else could be said they heard shout behind them, "Put your hands up, nobody move." Came a manly voice from behind them, they all froze, dropping their things to the ground and raising their hands before slowly turning around. They had been lucky enough during their three months on the road to not run into any bandits or raiders, this was their first.
"Kick over all your weapons and supplies." He ordered in a deep voice.
"How bout' I put a bullet in your brain instead?" Came a soft, feminine voice, it sounded familiar to Violet, but before she could take that thought any further there was the sound of a gun going off.
The man dropped to the ground with a thud, blood spraying onto the ground and more pooling out when he hit the ground. The Ericson kids were all shocked and became even more shocked when they saw the person behind the trigger, she was familiar to all of them, with her trademark 'D' marked hat and curly brown hair.
It was Clementine. She looked the same overall, her clothes were different and she had a few more scars on her neck and a few small ones on her face, but it was her. She was wearing similar pants to what she had the last time the group saw her, the only difference being them being a little darker. She was wearing a gray T-shirt and a black leather jacket and wore out brown combat boots.
Violet was the first to speak, gasping out her name quietly."Clementine?!"
Clementine awkwardly scratched the back of her neck before responding with, "Hey, guys." was the only thing she said before she became serious."We can catch up later right now we should really get out of here, we don't leave now we're gonna be walker food." After she said that she walked over to the dead man and rolled him over, she immediately recoiled slightly, but she proceeds anyways, grimacing before looting his body. Once she got up she began walking away, not sparing a glance at The boarding school kids.
Violet noticed how she limped ever so slightly as she walked. The group all looked at each other with shocked expressions, but before any of them could say something Clementine was calling out to them.
"You gonna follow me or wait for the walkers to come?" She called out to the once she realized they weren't following her.
They all ran to catch up with her, "Where are we going?" Louis asked her once they had caught up.
She turned to them with a grin and said, "You'll see."

They had been walking for close to an hour, Louis was still being annoying, asking every five minutes 'Are we there yet?'. Clementines surprised that she hadn't killed him. It had been completely silent the whole walk, and not a comfortable one either until Violet spoke up.
