Clementine looked at Felix with scared, wide eyes. "Felix..."Clementine half whispered and half whimpered. Luckily it wasn't loud enough for the others to hear, but Felix did and he looked back at her with concern, as soon as he saw her fearful features he grabbed her hand and gave it a squeeze.
"Clementine, I know you're in there?!" Came the deep male voice again as he banged his clenched fist on the door."It's alright I just wanna talk."
Felix took his gun out and walked in front of Clementine and the others. "You better leave or I'll blow a hole in your head!" He hollered back.
The banging on the door stopped and everything went silent for a few seconds before the door suddenly went flying open and the silhouette of a man was seen at the doorway. He wasn't a burly man, but you still wouldn't want to get in a fight with him. He had a long hunting knife in his right hand and a rifle on his back. He looked around at everyone in the room, he was silent until his eyes fell on Clementine who shrunk under his gaze. "Clementine, your looking better. The last time I saw you your leg was pretty mangled." He spoke in a deep voice while a sickening grin crossed his face.
"T-Trevor?" Clementine stuttered out as she stumbled back a few steps.
"Good to see you again." He said, still with a manic grin on his face.
Before anything else could be said Felix lunged forward with his knife and attempted to stab him on the chest. The movement caused the man, Trevor, to turn just in time to turn and grab his arm and twisting it, making him drop the knife in his hand. He shoved Felix back and he hit the floor, hard. He looked slightly dazed as he lifted his head and let it fall back again, after a few more moments Felix stopped moving altogether, still breathing but he was unconscious.
"Felix?!" Clementine shouts before running over to him, before she reaches him Trevor lunges at her next, shoving her as well, but Clementine catches herself. That doesn't matter though as he charges at her with his hunting knife in hand, he attempts to stab her in the chest as he pushes her against the wall. She was holding the knife back, but barely. An idea popped into Clementine's head as she fought back against Trevor.
The knife was currently pointed at her chest, lined up with her heart. She moved to the left as much as she could in the position she was in and she let go of the knife. It punctured her skin and went all the way to the wall, but Clementine didn't flinch as soon as the knife was all the way through she threw her elbow at his face, knocking him back and causing him to stumble a little. Clementine ripped the knife out of her shoulder and without a seconds hesitation she drove the knife in her clenched fist upwards and into the flesh just below his chin.
He coughed and sputtered for a few moments before falling to the floor lifeless. Clementine stood there, her whole body shaking with rage, eyes filled with vengeance and anger as she stared at the lifeless body in front of her.
The heavy silence that had fallen over everyone broke when they heard a groan coming from Felix who still lay of the floor. Noticing this Clementine broke from her trance and ran over to Felix's side."Fe, can you hear me? Are you alright?" She asked in a panicked voice as she picked his head up and put it in her lap.
Felix opened his eyes and blinked repeatedly before his vision focused. He lifted his head off of Clem's lap and looked around. "What the Hell happened?" He groaned out as he tried to sit up.
"Fe, don't you might have a concussion," Clementine said in a raspy voice and put her hand on his shoulder. Felix looked up and noticed the big blood stain on her shirt.
"Clem, what happened? Why's there blood on you're shirt?" Felix asked as he tried to sit up again, but Clementine stopped him again.
"I'm fine Felix." Clementine reassured ."It's just a scratch."
The rest of the kids were all too shocked to do anything the whole time. They didn't know who that man was, or why Felix attacked him. They all just stood there too stunned to move or help.
"How bout' you guys stop gawking and close the damn door and help me out here?" Clementine finally snapped at them.
Violet snapped out of it first, she looked at Clem and they locked eyes for a second, they both nodded at each other and Violet went over to the door and closed it and then ran over to help Clementine.
"Louis, help me get him on the couch," Clementine ordered them, they both nodded still slightly shocked by what just happened.
"No, no. I'm fine." Felix protested aimlessly.
"Felix, listen to me, you just hit your head really damn hard, I'm just trying to make sure your alright so stop being so stubborn," Clementine ordered him sternly.
Felix sighed and looked up at her before shaking his head a little. "Fine."
"Thank you," Clementine said with a small smile as she kneels down in front of him and examined his head.
"Yeah, whatever," Felix said as he rolled his eyes playfully.
They all went quiet, Felix says a few profanities here and there as Clementine examined his head. Overall though it was quiet, that is until there was groaning heard coming from the dead body laying on the floor. As soon as she heard it Clementine was garbing the knife from the table where she had left it. She got up and walked over to the walker, kneeling down and stabbing him in the head, as Clementine was doing this something inside her snapped. Maybe the anger that she held, the frustration that she felt whenever she heard his name, the vulnerability she felt when she was facing him and his people. She pulled the knife out but she didn't get back up, no instead she brought the knife back out and stabbed him again. She felt her eyes stinging with hot tears as they rolled down her cheeks, she just kept stabbing and stabbing, that is until she felt two skinny arms wrap around her waist and pull her backward.
"No, let me go!" She cried out as she pulled against the arms. Felix had already been sitting up more when he heard the continues stabbing sounds and he was on his feet now, stumbling a little bit on his feet none the less.
He ran over to where Violet was holding Clementine as she thrashed and cried out. "Clementine, Clementine?!" He yelled over her cry's, he grabbed her arms and got her to look at him. Violet had to hold her up more when Clementine slumped slightly, still crying but not as much.
Violet let go of Clementine as Felix took her and let her cry into his shoulder. This was nothing new to Felix of course, he had been her shoulder to cry on for almost three years and in those three years, they had grown a bond, unlike anything many people had seen before. "Clem, your okay, I've got you. You're safe." Felix counseled her.
He did that for a few more minutes before she calmed down. The rest of the kids were all very concerned for Clementine and some of them were afraid, afraid of what to was that she was hiding and other, others were afraid of her.
