Clementine stared at the door that Violet had just walked out of for a few seconds thinking about what her life would be like if she hadn't left the school. If her and Violet would still be together. If she wouldn't have endured so much pain in such a short time. Her thoughts are cut off by a knock at the door and the door opening and Felix poking his head in.

"Clem, are you alright?" He asked with concern seeing the thoughtful expression on her face. Her head snapped up a little at the sound of his voice, her eyes widening a little but she relaxed once she saw who it was.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." She replies as she forces a little smile onto her face. Felix sees right through it though.

"Clem..." Felix sighed as he walked in more and closed the door behind him. "What's up? And don't say you're fine cause I know you and I know that look." He waggled a finger at her causing her to chuckle.

"Yeah, I know you do."

"Then tell me, what's wrong? Why do you look like your about to cry?" He asked softly as he walked over and pushed some hair behind her ear and grabbed her hands.

Clementine smiled at the action and looked up at him. "I'm just thinking, that's all."

Felix walked over to the bed with Clementine following him and sat down. "What are you thinking about?"

Clementine sighed and leaned her head on Felix's shoulder. "Just...I've always wondered what life would be like if I never left the school. I mean I'm happy I did cause I met you and Raine, and Amelia and Seth but....if I hadn't where would I be?"

Felix looked down at her and leaned his head on hers. "Well, I'm sure you'd still be with the flower and you'd be living a great, peaceful life." He suggested causing her to smile up at him. "It doesn't matter if you didn't meet me. You'd have had a peaceful life and that's what I want for you."

"Yeah, but I'm still glad I did."

It was silent for a while, the siblings sitting in silence and finding comfort in each other. They didn't need to talk, or say anything. Simply just hugging or holding each other comforted them. For months they had been each other's rocks, the only thing holding them down from letting go. They had both lived on the road most if their life, seeing terrors that no one should ever have to witness, but the world they lived in didn't care how old you were or how fragile. It would throw you into a storm without a second thought, like a sick, sick game. Watching you struggle about, fighting battles and dealing with monsters, human and walker a like. Watching you slowly lose yourself and the others around you until you were nothing but a shell of who you used to be.

Clementine realized they had been sitting there both lost in thought and that Violet was probably waiting for her. "We should get down there. I told Violet I'd meet her down there so she could patch my shoulder up." She spoke softly to him.

Felix lifted his head and smiled at her. "Yeah, we should." He said as he got up and held his hand out for Clem. "There is one thing though." He said as he pulled her off the bed.

Clementine raised her brows and nodded her head to tell him to carry on.

"What exactly happened to your shoulder?" He asked her and her expression turned to a guilty one.

"He stabbed me." She admitted quietly.

Felix looked at her with a slightly shocked expression and a little hurt. "What exactly happened while I was unconscious?" He asked as they made their way out of the room and started walking to the steps.

"Well after he knocked you out he turned and charged at me with the knife he had, pinned me against the wall and I may or may not have let him stab me so I could take the knife." She explained, saying the last part quietly.

But Felix heard perfectly and he snapped his head in Clementine's direction. "You let him stab you?!" He exclaimed as he grabbed her upper arm.

"Felix it's not that big of a deal." She said in a much calmer tone. "It's not like I'm dead. Besides Violet said it stopped bleeding last nigh." As soon as she said it she regretted her words. No one knew about her and Violet sleeping in the same bed last night except for them.

Felix gave her a confused look before a grin crosses his face. "Oh, Clementine you naughty, naughty girl." He teased.

Clementine blushed and shoved him playfully as they made their way to the bottom of the steps. "Shut up, nothing happened. She just...kept me company." She shrugged as they made their way to the living room where everyone else was.

"Hey, there you guys are. We were afraid you had died." Violet said as they made their way into the living room.

"No, we were just talking," Felix explained.

"Alright well come here, Clem. I'll patch your shoulder up." Violet told her as she held her hand out for Clementine. Clementine grabbed her hand quicker than the last time when Violet held her hand out for her, which was when she had fallen on her in the kitchen.

Violet lead her to the bathroom leading off the living room, that I also failed to mention, and sat her on the toilet. "Umm...alright, you're uh, you're gonna have to take your shirt off," Violet told her as she looked away and scratched the back of her neck awkwardly.

Clementine blushed heavily before standing up and slowly taking her shirt off with a wince as she moved her shoulder in the wrong way. Clementine looked away and sat back down on the toilet.

"Alright, I'm sorry if I hurt yo-" Violet begins but is cut off by Clementine who shakes her head.

"Don't be, I've had worse, trust me." She said as she lifted her leg up a little.

Violet nodded. "Good point." She said as she got the supplies ready. "So do you want me to stitch it or just patch it up?"

"We can just patch it for now. Plus I don't think you know how to stitch, do you?" Clem asked her as she gave her a side glance.

"Uh...no, no I don't." Violet frowned. "I wish I could help." She said as she grabbed a cloth and ran it under the tap.

Clementine chuckled a little. "Vi, you have helped." She said with a smile.

Violet looks at her confused and shakes her head a little. "What? How have I helped?"

"You didn't turn your back on me last night, even after what I put you and everyone else through. You didn't turn me away. I was almost sure you would hate me but...you didn't." She explained and flashed her a small smile. "I mean, I would have hated me."

Violet smiled a little and shook her head. "I could never hate you, Clem." And with that, she begins to clean out the wound.

A/N: Good news, my thoughts on what to right are becoming more frequent. So that means more chapters, yay.

Have a good day or night
