Hello reader/readers. I apologize for not writing a lot. I've been really busy in these past few weeks. I hope you accept my apologies and enjoy the new chapter!Waltzing Into The Past
Lacey looked around frantically, sure that she hadn't lost the thing that had gotten her into this mess and sometimes out of it. "It must be somewhere... anywhere!" Astiana was as paranoid as a turtle without its shell.Katherine paced around, shaking her head in disbelief. "We have to go back." She finally got up and sighed in annoyance. "Wait... where and how? We're in the middle of nowhere.." Lacey sat down, vexed.
Katherine shared a look with Astiana, then sat down beside Lacey. "We didn't share one thing with you. That eternal darkness you were talking about? We need to enter it."
Astiana nodded calmly at Lacey, but Lacey knew the hidden secret behind her eyes. "There's a story isn't there? There's always a story!" Lacey groaned and looked at Katherine expectantly.
"There's a legend. It's about the Cloa-" before Katherine could finish her word, a star shot down, landing right beside Lacey and causing an eruption to smoke up. "Ah!" Astiana squealed as a rock landed and wedged itself between a bigger rock.
The man they'd seen in Rimester appeared. Guardian Of Thee, Lacey thought. Astiana remained silent, but nodded.
"Cloaked Maiden, yes she knows Katherine Ronicale. Now... I'll summon the portal for you, but beware... your journey contains many secrets. The portal will take you into your past, and it will hurt. Apologies... and good luck..." he sliced his hand through the air and a black hole appeared.
As he made it bigger, the wind started sucking everything, starting with Astiana.
"Quickly!" Katherine yelled and jumped in. Lacey, looked up at the star guardian and bowed as a sign of appreciation. She followed in, and the earth flap closed up, leaving the star guardian to shoot right back to his star.
As Lacey landed, she stood in a galactic space, the caves were floating around and it seemed like there was no sense of gravity here. As she put her foot unsurely on a white fluffy thing, she noticed Astiana and Katherine on the other side.
The gentle waves on the fluffy thing rose up, and Lacey started realizing that it was a cloud. It floated over to Astiana and Lacey jumped, lightly putting her foot down on the see through floor.
"What is this place?" Lacey asked, a little worried.
"The centre of the world Lacey. The centre," Astiana smiled and looked around. "It's beautiful..." Lacey looked around, watching pink spots in the night sky. The dark blue background seemed to shine, though there were no stars.
Purple streaks tripped down the night, electrifying the day.
"There are spirits here. Good ones, I hope. The bad ones will begin soon enough..." Katherine murmured. As if on cue, a large purple figure moved down from the dark sky and it stopped in front of Lacey.
"Lacey Moore," the figure greeted her. "Who are you?" Lacey asked, then wished she hadn't. Surely this woman would give a lengthy description of who she was.
"That does not matter right now my dear. We need to get to that door before sunrise..." she hurried Lacey along to a clear spot. The figure waved her fingers on it and a door appeared.
It spelled something out on the front, but before Lacey could read it, the woman ushered all of them inside and disappeared herself. "Goodbye Lacey Moore," the voice altered, and the woman's face showed.
She had no face.
