keith looked back at the burning kingdom he fought so hard to protect and watched as it burned to the ground and zarkon and his army burned homes and killed animals and those that were taken. keith looked at all the people that left in a big line as they carried their children and the injured. he knew he had to find his people shelter from the snow storm and hide. his only hope was his friends at the garrison.
at the garrison....
"commander shiro we have a problem" one of the men in the control room said. "what do you mean problem" shiro asked. the same man pulled up a live video of the burning galran kingdom. everyone watched in horror.

"that can't be can it" zoey said. "get all the paladins in here now" shiro yelled. zoey leaned on the wall in worry. "let's hope this isn't what we think it is" shiro said under his breath.
allura ran towards lance's room banging on the door. the door opened to a tired lance. "what" he asked a little annoyed. "the galran kingdom is all on fire" allura said. "wait what" lance said rubbing his eyes. "the galran base is gone" allura said.

"what" lance said shocked. he grabbed his jacket and ran down the hall with hunk, allura, pidge, shara, trevor, luke, and will. "all of us why all of us" trevor asked. allura didn't answer. they all walked into the control room and saw the galran base on fire. "wha.......my kids don't need to be seeing this" zoey said. "leave them you can't keep this from them" shiro said.
"is that really" hunk began. allura looked down "it is" she said. "do you think" pidge began. "i don't know" shiro said. "sir we are picking up no life signs of keith krogane" one of the men in the control room said over a computer. fear filled the room. "mommy is daddy okay" luke asked. "yeah sweety he'll be fine" zoey said as she hoped it was true.
back with keith......
"hurry there almost here" keith yelled to his people. everyone hurried inside the caves as keith and the remaining men stood guard ready for anything. zarkon's men ran towards keith and his guards as the fought them off. "get all the women and children inside now" keith yelled to one of his guards.
time skip...............................two months.........................
"is the beacon ready" keith asked walking into one of the side caves. "yes sir it is" one of the galran guards said. "good send all power we have to transmit a signal. it's our only hope. when you are done get all the guards in the main room. i need to speak to everyone" keith said and walked out of the room.
with the garrison..........
"commander shiro we are getting a distress signal" one of the men in the control room said. "everyone to your lions" shiro yelled. everyone ran to the lions. zoey ran towards the black lion "wow zoey you can't come" shiro said. "don't make me chain you to the leg and watch you dangle from your hands as i fly" zoey said. shiro moved aside.
everyone took off in there lions as they went towards the beacon. they walk in and see thousands of galran people. "we're saved" someone yells and everyone cheers.
