she opened the door as darkness surrounded her. she limped into the dark black hallway not knowing if anything or anyone was out there. her only light was the flickering over head light down the hall. it gave her little hope as it's light shined. the only noise was the buzzing and blinking of the light. with no weapon in hand or light of her own, she limped on.
she looked around. there was bloody hand marks and big scratches in the wallpaper. bloodied armor and pieces of flesh lay around. she stepped over them as she continued on her journey. as she reached the end on the light she was faced with two choices. go back and risk finding it in a room while looking for light or face the darkness and risk it eating her.
play it save or risk everything. risk her friends, her families lives. she knew she had no chance if it got her. against it's claws, it's teeth, it's thirst for blood. she had already been injured by it. using copper wire and a blow torch to make stiches. the thought of a five foot four women fighting a seven foot monster chilled her to the bone.
she had watched it kill ten men she was one person. one against a beast. she was scared. but she needed to save her family and her friends. she grabbed a flashlight from a nearby room and walked down the halls.
