"i'm sorry keith" commander holt said. "life happens" keith said as he blocked his sadness and his anger. he had lost his job. he could no longer be a paladin of voltron. he wheeled down the hall as shiro stood seeing Keith's sadness. keith went into his room and locked the door.
keith looked at his legs. he was mad. in the matter of three years he lost everything. his job, kids, friends trust, families trust, his kingdom, his legs, the one job he loved, three years of his life, and his faith. he grabbed his paladin suit and cleaned it. then he put it in his old paladin locker. he took the name off the locker door and took everything out of it.
he went back into his room and packed his things. he then sat outside looking at the sky. what was he to do. he couldn't walk, he had no job. it was like he was 8 again. lost and scared.
"is anyone going to talk to him" hunk asked. "i think he needs time. he just lost his job" zoey said as everyone looked out the window at keith who was still outside. "he loved this job" shiro said. "yeah he really did. what is he going to do now" pidge asked. keith turned into a bird and flew off. he flew off into the sky as he left the garrison. he wasn't planing on coming back. he planed on being a bird for the rest of his life.
never going back. ever. they were better off without him. they were fine when they thought he was a murder. but as he flew a galran ship shot him down and captured him.
