Garner looks at me, "well, we could do what they do in the movies." He stood only feet apart from me.

"The door will open soon, just, don't do anything stupid," I say feeling my insides flop side to side, a sign I know too well.

"What? Like this?" He pulls my face close to his. Now, only centimeters apart, I can smell the Peppermint Mocha in his breath. Sweet. Sweet bliss. Our noses touch. "Or this?" He shared my breath, and he took my lip and pulled it between his teeth.

I could not believe it. He was teasing me? I'm flabbergasted, but suddenly he stopped. "I want us to happen... Ali, your not replaceable. Over these last few months I thought that I moved on, because I was filled with regret and remorse, my walls were always closed when I was with Karizma. I l-"

I stopped him mid-sentence with my lips brushing on his, ending to a full kiss. The thoughts of his lips being on mine even though I said I was through with him sounded so impossible. Yet again, here I am kissing him in a broken elevator.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

And the kiss continued.

We were so intense in the so very passionate kiss, that we almost didn't hear the elevator moving again. We broke apart, leaving me touching my lips, where his soft lips been.

The elevator dings, and I get out the elevator, while Garner stays behind with that half smirk he always pulls off when he wants something he can't have. I know the look.

He wants me.

And that's when I knew it. I knew the inevitable. I was in love with Garner. I glide the key card on the scan, and it unlocked. I opened the door and find Alexandria laughing brutally loud at a video on her phone. She looks up and stops laughing.

"Where in the heaven hays have you been?" She immediately drops her phone and runs to me.

"Trapped in an elevator...with Garner," I sighed. I can remember his lips on my lips...Gosh. Why? Why me?

"Oh my GOSH! She squealed like a eight year-old. "How? What!? Geez weez."

"I know this may seem ironic but...the elevator got stuck mid-ride and things that I am absolutely not talking about happened." I scurried around the hotel room looking for some casual-affair clothes. Or should I go business style? I don't know. It's just my dad.

And Garner.

Yes, and Garner.

I go along with the casual-affair look. Even after everything, I have to show everyone that I am who I was yesterday. A nobody who definitely loathed Garner for no apparent reason to them. I don't want Karizma to find out. She would literally kill me. They are getting married Sunday. I just got to get pass these two dreadful days. No matter how strong the love me and Garner have, he has to marry Karizma. No marriage, no job. No job...no house. No house, you're homeless.Of course, Garner left an hickey on my neck, so, my hair is gonna be a big problem.

"Let's go Ally" Alexandria calls from the door. She's wearing some overalls and a Polaroid shirt. Easy. Yet, I, chose a more easier choice. Jean-shorts and a "Skillet" shirt, but, like I said, my hair was gonna be a big problem. Up or down? Either way it will still show the semi-large hickey on my neck.

"I'll be there! " I yell back. I decided to leave it down, because it hides half of the hickey. It's a little over five-thirty, and we were suppose to be there like, twenty minutes ago.

"Go down the stairs this time, and hurry! We're late," I hear the door close and then silence. I grab my purse and my phone. I follow the signs and got to the main-entrance stairwell. I rush down the fifth flight, and going down the fourth one when I guess I wasn't looking, I was bumped into.

"Oof," I felt like I was falling. Actually, I was falling, but, a hand grabbed my arm. A male hand. A strong male hand. The guy pulled me to his chest.

"Are you okay?" The boy with the beanie, and tattoos, was standing in front of me.

"Yeah. It's Edward, right?" Clearly shakened, I shiver.

"Correct," his deep voice secures me with safety. "Allison, it seems like we are always bumping into each other."
