"I. Um. I have to go," I stumble a few times, as my ankle shoots pain to all parts of my body. I grip Edward's shoulder to balance myself. He holds on tighter to me.

"I think you've sprained your ankle," he looks at me and a shiver goes down my back. "Probably just a minor sprain. So it won't ruin your date."

I was astonished. Does it really look like I'm going on a date? "What makes you think I have a date?" I skirted my eyes to him. His hazel eye drifted to to my crystal blue eyes. I felt the fluttering butterflies and my heartbeat gnawing its way out of my body. My eyes flicker from his eyes to his lips. Gosh! His glorious soft li- I look lower. A glint of light shining from his finger. A ring.

He's married.

He looks down and moved his hand, with the ring on it, into his pocket. It's getting harder to breathe. my breathing speed is progressing rapidly.

"What's wrong Allison?" He asks worried, the hint of concern in his eyes.

I felt faint. What is wrong with me? It could be a panic attack? That's impossible though. I-That's why I do those sessions with Micheal.

The world got darker, till it was black as the succumbed night sky.

                                              ------------------------------------------------------------

Groggily, I wake up with beeping noises on my left. I turn my head to the side and see Edward asleep by my side. He stayed? My ankle was bandaged up, I'm guessing from the fall. I look around for my phone and finds it on the arm of Edward's chair.

I grab the rest of my courage and stand up over Edward, his soft snoring filling the silence in. How long has he been here? How long have I been here? I quickly try to grab my phone, but before I can grab it, Edward's hand reaches it before I could, as his eyes, wide open, stares at me, cold at first, but warms with a feeling I can't explain.

"You're awake," he yawns. He must be really tired. He lets go of my arm, and sat up straighter.

I grabbed my phone, "now, you're awake." I check the time, and it's a little over seven o'clock. "Shit. And I'm super late."

Edward rose an eyebrow, "for what?" He checks his phone, and suddenly after a few swipes on his phone, all his "flirtatious" Edward was gone. "Sorry, I shouldn't have asked. After all it's none of my business.

"No. Uh. It's okay. It was a dinner party at my dad's." The first message was from, of course, Alexandria.

She left a voicemail: "Where are you? You're super late! Garner is starting to get on my nerves with that 'we only talked in the elevator' bull-crap. I know something happened. Please reply. No show or show go?"

I text her: "Show go. Can I bring a friend over?" I send the text and gently laid in the bed. I push the "Assistant" button so I could be discharged. I looked at Edward, Edward was looking at his phone. "So how is your wife?" I blurted out, immediately regretting it.

Edward looked up sharply. "I uh. um." He stutters. "She's doing...good. I. Um. I was just texting her."

I felt a sharp pain pinching my heart. What's up with me and married guys? It's obviously clear that I don't like him.

"You should go with her, instead of being stuck with a stranger," I look at my phone, and Alexandria replied: "OMG tg u replied and yeah bring ur friend. ur dad said he dont mind"

"I'm not stuck anywhere, besides she's in LA. I mean, she's obviously not here, in New Jersey." Edward says. "Also, i want to make sure you get to your dad's house okay."

At that point, the doctor came in and discharged me.
