Jungkook's POV
I furrowed my eyebrows and tilted my head. "What kind of favor?" I asked as I sat down next to her cautiously. She smiled at my response and breathed heavily.
"My boss and I are going to London for a business trip," she started out slowly. She looked away and puckered her lips. "He has a son that's seventeen and he doesn't want him to be alone for the next two weeks. I know it's a lot to ask, but can you stay with him?"
I opened my mouth and furrowed my brows in confusion. "Wait, you're leaving me for two weeks? And what about Yoongi? I can't leave him here and I'm not going to leave him without somewhere to go," I furiously started staring off reasons of why this was crazy.
"You can take him with you," she shrugged. "And this business trip will be the reason that we won't have to move away from another house. It can be.. a home." She smiled at me.
My lips formed a thin line and I inhaled slowly. "Does his son go to my school?" I asked her. She cheered quietly to herself.
"Yes, Yes He does." She smiled.
I thought for a second and rolled my eyes with a smile. "Fine, me and Yoongi will babysit your boss' son." I laughed and stood up, only to be dragged back down into a tight hug.
"I knew I could count on you, Kookie."
——
Yoongi sat on my bed and looked at me with wide eyes. "You have to babysit for two weeks?" He laughed loudly. I pushed him over on my bed and he chuckled at me.
"He's only a year younger than us."
"And yet you still have to babysit him." Yoongi wiped away a fake tear and sighed happily. "I can't wait to hear how this goes." He smiled.
I smiled at him and tilted my head. "Are you as excited as I am?" I smirked at him. He looked up at me in confusion. "I can't stay here?" He asked me. I shook my head.
"Mom wants me to take my most bestest friend in the whole wide world with me!" I said a little too cheerfully as I wrapped my arms tightly around a scoffing Yoongi.
"But what if- I mean, I ran away. What if my parents find me?" He questioned me nervously.
I unwrapped myself from him and looked down at his scared face. I ruffled his hair and smiled at him. "Don't worry, I'm sure that the seventeen year old will keep you safe."
Yoongi rolled his eyes and smacked my arm.
"And if he doesn't?" He whispered.
"Then I'll protect you." I smiled warmly.
——
I held both mine and Yoongi's bag in my hand as we greeted my mom's boss. He was a tall man and he looked like he could rip a hundred dollar bill in half and it wouldn't phase him.
He looked rich. It suited the look of his huge mansion-like house as well. Maybe I'll have some fun staying in this place for a while.
"Hi, this is my son Jungkook and his.. brother." My mom said to her boss. Mine and Yoongi's eyes widened at the word 'brother' and he looked at me with a confused look on his face. "I mean- these are my sons. Jungkook and Yoongi." She smiled nervously at him.
We both shook his hand and he led us inside the house. "Great, you can both choose any room you want to stay in- Besides my room or Jackson's, obviously." He laughed lightly.
"Jackson?" Yoongi whispered in my ear.
I shrugged and looked around the big house. "You're the one who knows people, not me." I stated as I spotted a room and sat my bag on the bed. It had a dark grey blanket and a desk.
It was a pretty nice room with decorations all over the place. It also looked expensive.
"Kook, Jackson is the person you're babysitting?" Yoongi asked quietly. I nodded and he facepalmed. "He's the most annoying little-"
"Hey, you two." My mom stuck her head in the door quietly. "Act like siblings, okay?" She looked behind her and her boss appeared and opened the door more widely.
"Hope you two have fun," he smiled at us.
"I'll see you in two weeks." Mom grinned. I was confused as to why she wanted us to act like siblings and why she had called us that.
Maybe she thought it would be weird if I randomly brought a friend to stay with me at her boss' house. That probably why.
I have to act like his brother?
"How hard can it be?" Yoongi shrugged.
——
Yoongi and I stood in front of Jackson's door and he rolled his eyes. "I hate this," he said as he knocked lightly on the door.
The door slowly opened, revealing a boy. The same boy that had ran into me at Hoseok's party. He looked more cheerful and had a smile across his face this time he saw me.
He looked over at Yoongi and squinted. "Wait- you two aren't brothers..?" He questioned. I looked at Yoongi and realized that he was catching on and I didn't want him to know that my mom had lied to her boss.
"I- Uh, I've been homeschooled up until now." I lied. I wish I had been homeschooled my whole life. It would've been so much easier since my mom decided we needed to move very often. Jackson squinted his eyes in suspicion.
"Sure," He said sarcastically. "But oh my God, I can't believe a cute guy is staying with me for a whole two weeks!" He said happily as he latched onto my arm tightly.
What the hell??
Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows and looked at both of us. "Just because he's staying here doesn't mean he wants you," he scoffed.
Jackson smirked and ran his hand all over my arm and squeezed my muscle. "If you're only his brother, then why does it matter?"
Yoongi tensed up and rolled his eyes. "I never said I cared, I'm not even ga- ... you know what? Maybe you actually want to fuck me and you're mad that you can't." He shrugged.
Jackson started laughing loudly. "Oh please, I gave you that chance months ago." He smiled up at me. "I've wanted a chance with Jungkook ever since he got here." He smiled at me.
I looked at him and smiled back weakly. He was pretty cute and everything, but I seriously had no interest in him. My gaze was too focused on Yoongi as his face turned red and he walked away. "Whatever," He said as he left.
