EriSol,
Magic, human-stuck, witches, mythical creatures.

Sollux Captor 22, and rather content with his life. He had inherited his business from his father. It wasn't much but it was something he'd always known no need to go looking for something else when this made him happy. He owned a crystal & tea shop in the downtown area Raleigh, North Carolina. Nestled in between a old book store and a corner coffee shop. Sure there were high rises, and busy streets but most of the bustling stores were small, some like his own even had an apartment above them. He loved the city life and he loved his shop. He was perfectly and utterly ordinary. Except for the fact he practiced magic. Not your every day run of this mill magic card tricks no, not the spiritual Wicca magic either. He had inherited not only his passions from his father, but his power as well. He was a crystal mage and not a very good one at that, he could manifest crystals in his palms, crystals totally unlike any, seen before. It was his art form and he loved it, but that was almost the extent of his abilities aside from the fickle natural telekinesis. But not all magic was so basic he'd known friends of his father who could do mind boggling things, plants spring from their palms, the most wild and dangerous of animals come to their heal create massive cathedrals and performances in minutes with a thought. Don't even get him started on a brawl between two such individuals, the thought made him shudder. But like his father he didn't usually associate with them much, and if he did he didn't know it. He sold magical items like crystals and herbs to them, the Occasional magic card that came into his possession. They seemed drawn to him, his father always told him that was one of his gifts and that one day he would meet some one to match it. Just like he had with him and his brother's mother. But card mages rarely ever crossed his path, though whenever he found a magic card in one of his junk drawers or on the side walk, or even atop his fridge, he kept his eyes open knowing that it was a sign the one who matched that magic would cross paths with him one day. But the only card mage Sollux knew of in all of his region was in the Coven, and he rarely ever came to cross paths with one of them let alone their treasured card mage. He couldn't remember the name of the guy but he remembered him being like two hundred or something, so ew no. Not about to get some grandpa ass. No thank you. The Coven was too revered to even look at his tinny little shop let alone frequent it, so he doubted they even knew he existed. He liked it that way him and his father had both had that in common. "Best not to get caught up in the drama of the powerful" He would say "there lives are too complex for them to ever stop and smell the roses. Who wants that?" Certainly not Sollux. He liked his little life, in his little town. And he wouldn't change a thing.

Though one day he met another witch, who matched him. And they were in a considerable amount of trouble, and...British?
