I rolled out of bed and onto the floor and landed on top of someone. My eyes went wide but I then remembered who I landed on. Layla. She groaned in pain. "watch it" she said and shoved me off of her. "sorry I forgot you slepped over." I said and got up from the ground. We got up, cleaned the mess of blankets and pillows and walked downstairs to make breakfast.

Theres an old TV in the kitchen that's been there since we first moved to this house so I put in an old movie. It's one of those TVs that only uses VHS tapes. luckily my mom saved all of hers from when she was a teenager. I don't know what the movie is called but it has this really cute actor in it Jonathan Brandis I think.

We sat eating the bacon and toast we made. I turned and saw my mom walk in. "oh hey you guys made yourself breakfast" she said in surprise. "Ya we didn't want to disturb you because of how early it is" I said and took another huge bite. "alright well I'm gonna just grab some yogurt and go." she said as she opened the fridge. "nice to see you Layla." my mom said and Layla smiled with her mouth full.

Layla and I just sat in silence eating our breakfast as we watch this movie and I honestly slowly fell in love with Jonathan Brandis he was such a cute actor and from what I've heard he was a sweet and kind person. And he's only ever wanted the best for his fans he was never fake with them or anything. I just wish I could find someone like that now. It's so difficult to know when someone's telling the truth or you know, smiling right through a lie

layla ate her last bite of toast and left the dishes in the sink. "what are we doing today? I want to go to the pool but I don't know if that's the best option for the first day after school's out." she suggests. "you wanna go skating? Like skateboarding?" I asked. "sure but not to a skate park. I always embarrass myself at skate parks." she said and gave an awkward smile. "Alright, my street. the ground is pretty smooth so I think we'll be fine here." I said and put my dishes in the sink.

I skate up and down my street all the time. my mom didn't always let me go everywhere all the time so the street right here was always my first option. it was fun though.
