I talked to 'mystery person' a little while longer and got to know him.

Me: so I'm having a party next week and was wondering if you'd come

mystery person: ...

Me: it would be after I find out who u are and I'm starting to like you so yk we'd be friends.

mystery person: ...

me: do u wanna come or not?

mystery person: yea but I don't think you'll like me as much as you think you do. Or you might think I'm creepy.

Me: .... Are you a FUCKING teacher or something?

mystery person: NO NO IM IN YOUR GRADE CALM DOWN.

mystery person: I've had feelings for you for a few months and didn't say anything cuz u don't know me. i thought this would be easier.

Me: oh haha okay okay

mystery person: usually when I tell someone I like them and they don't like me, they ignore me or get all weird and uncomfortable.

Me: why? Your chill. They probably don't care about your friendship if they do that. I don't wanna lose people as my friend so I don't act weird. Especially since it's not.

Me: if you're attracted to that person romantically then they should be flattered and become closer with you. Not distance themselves...

Him: wow. Can we talk about politics? I think I like hearing you talk about stuff your serious about. Hahaha

We ended up talking for the rest of the night. We talked about basic funny things we even sent each other memes calling me stupid. But he would get frustrated and say that I wasn't.

I'm thankful for him. I'm thankful that he texted me. I'm thankful that he found my number. He's cool and I can't wait to meet his goofy ass.
