She begins her day by staring at the blank wall of hers. She does this for hours until she decides to get up out of her depressed filled bed.
She doesn't like it when it's quiet in this glass house of hers, even the old sound of her mother yelling held some type of comfort, but this did nothing to fill the emptiness that currently is in place of her heart.
Her days are always short, she wakes up in the late afternoon and walks the halls of the empty house, her feet echos the bare hallways as she walks up and down the hall.
She counts how many steps it takes each time to reach the end of the hall way she then turns around and counts walking back down the hall again.
Her mind recalls small memories of when she would chase Rosy down the hallway hearing her giggles as she tickled her until she couldn't breathe had always been a pure thing for the girl to think back on.
There was several other things the girl could recall in her life such as when her mothers ex boyfriend had ran his hand up her thigh the last time she wore a dress, that's why she hated them, she felt embarrassed and felt like she was like a kitten, vulnerable.
The last time she wore a dress was when she had encountered Toby the first time since he had saved her, and that was only because Rosy loved the dress on her and in memory it was nice to wear it once again, for her little sister.
Breaking her thoughts she heard pounding at her door, it was strange, she didn't get much visitors.
Walking down the stairs she sees through the doors window that there's two men outside.
Walking up to the door and opening it she sees that it's two officers, one of them was on the bigger side of the spectrum with a thick dark beard and the other was slim man who was taller than his partner and the girl herself by several inches.
She looked up at him giving him a small smile. "Yes? is there anything I could help you with?" She spoke with a regular tone eager for what they wanted.
She had never liked cops, the experiences she had were all terrible. When she had come clean about her mothers ex and that he had touched her at the mere age of thirteen. The police at the time had refused to believe her or take any tests.
She had to live most her teen years in fear of men like those and the men that didn't try to serve justice.
The two police men looked at each-other then back at the small girl in front of them. Their eyes looked the young girl up and down before they spoke, And of course she took note of this.
"Yes, we would like to ask a couple of questions concerning your mother, "(y/m/n)".
She felt her stomach churn at this, she hadn't said anything to the police about her mother. Maybe she should have to clear any suspicion. She couldn't think to long her hard without causing suspicion.
She continued her fake smile and opened the door a bit wider.
"Sure, come in." They nodded as they walked into her home, looking at how extravagant things in her home were.
The girl then closed the door and walked into the lounge area, The two men followed her sitting themselves down across from the girl.
Quiet filled the air for a few moments before the girl spoke. "So what did you want to ask?" the girl looked at the two men eager to know what they wanted to know.
"Well, we had gotten a call around three days ago reporting a missing person from corporate, apparently your mother hasn't been to work for the past four weeks, have you know about this?" The chubby man asked her.
