Her body jolted awake, a cold sweat glossing her delicate face. Another clap of thunder enters the room, sending vibrations through the room.
Lightning makes itself known by blinking a few times lingering itself in the dark room. The girl sits up, feeling her body tremble by the sudden clashes that had occured.
Looking around, she notices that this place isn't familiar. Another boom of thunder and she flinches. She stands up from the sofa she was just on, moving her bare feet across the floor.
She ends up putting too much pressure on her hurt foot and causes the girl to seer through her clenched teeth.
She looks around for any type of lamp or light switch.
After another clash of lighting shows, her eyes land on a lamp that lied on a table beside the sofa.
She falls back on the sofa and leans over the arm to turn the light on.
It's an older lamp as she finds the string and pulls it down, letting the hollow light illuminate through the room.
Her eyes make the necessary adjustments to the new light source. She moves her head looking around her.
She's never been here before, she's never been in a place like this.
The room she was in consisted a sofa a wooden coffee table, a fat TV that was covered in dust a single window that had dirty curtains and a small kitchen area.
"Where the hell am I?" She rhetorically questions as she lays her head back against the sofa.
The place itself was tacky and very out of date, if the dust didn't say to the style sure did, the sofa that she currently sat on was a dark yellow plaid with red stripes, and the curtains were a dirty white.
'Could be this be Toby's place?' She thought to herself, she looked around for any photos of him or family, but to her dismay there were none.
There was only a painting of a lake that rested above the fat old TV.
"Toby?" She called out seeing if this was his place.
If this wasn't his place then it's probably a kidnapper or something.
But who else would be walking in the dark? Toby is pretty weird but would he really just be casually walking in the middle of the night like that?
She looked around a bit more, taking in her surroundings, if this was a kidnapper or someone like that they wouldn't just leave her out in the open like that, especially if the front door was literally five feet from the girl.
She looks at the fireplace that is placed directly in front of her, looking at the dusty stone and grate.
She sees next to the fire place a log holder that held some logs and right next to it some fire pokers, and with them, a wooden cane.
She could use that to help her walk she thought, looking past the kitchen looking down the dark hallway.
she makes an effort to limp over to the cane and takes it out gladly.
It's made out of old wood, the carvings give it a way. Her grandfather had one similar to this one, he died a few years ago.
She begins to walk around the room a bit more looking more at things, whoever lived here must have not liked to do things, the TV it dirty and the bookshelf is dusty as well.
She walks over to the kitchen area, the cold tiles send shivers down her body.
She then remembered how dirty she was after everything went down, she looked at her arm and noticed the blood had been washed off. There were still some smears but for the most part it was like it wasn't even there.
