《Static》

The sound of static was louder than usual. Causing the boy to grunt in annoyance, he looks around for the faceless man, his boss.

Typically He never came to his pawns. Instead his pawns would have to go to him when summoned. This wasn't your regular meeting, meaning this had a significance.

The boy couldn't help but think to himself if he already knew about the girl or not, it would make sense for him to already know considering you could never hide anything from Slender.

The thought shook him to the core, without knowing he even broke a sweat from under his orange goggles and mouth guard.

His ticks started to act up in a nervous breakout, he was usually nervous around his boss anyways so maybe he wouldn't bother taking detail of his antics.

The boy looks around and spots him from afar, hidden in the trees. He never had a reason to appear right in front of the faceless man considering everything was telepathic, or that's what Toby called it at least.

It was weird to describe, how he would communicate with his boss. He didn't remember a lot from his childhood or anything really for that matter but he remembered reading a comic, the name he sadly forgot.

Alas in that comic, a disabled man could send messages with his mind without speaking and could even 'control' things with his mind.

That was the best analogy he could associate with, when in his presence there were no words or movements, once he looked at him everything he needed to know about his next mission was suddenly in his mind, just like magic.

When he made facial contact there was nothing coming to him, this sent him on edge. Was he trying to get a confession or was he trying to torment him from doing the unthinkable?

Despite Slender 'saving' him from getting arrested he knew deep down, that slender didn't have a heart, he didn't care about his proxies. To him, they were all his pawns just so he didn't have to get his hands dirty.

If it came to it, he knew that Slender could end him with a single head tilt. He knew that if he wanted him dead, he would already be so. It's not like he wasn't replaceable.

If Slender could get into a mind he thought had "potential" of fulfilling his needs then so be it, there will always be deranged people walking among the earth, there will always be an endless amount of potential proxies about.

As he continues to look at the faceless man from afar, he decides to squint to see if there was anything he was missing. He couldn't see anything different so it left him in a confused state.

Was this about finding Jeff? That's what he was doing before the static arrived.

Before he could think of anything else, the boy was forced to his knees, ringing could be heard then the traumatizing static. The sound that could make demons cry, was this punishment?

He pulls his hands up to his ears despite him knowing that the horrid sounds are only going through his mind. He starts to pant as his tics become more violent, his cracking bones were also heard through.

He looks up once again but this time the faceless man was right in front of him.

Toby then starts to choke on his own saliva that he couldn't muster to swallow, his body felt like it was in the middle of a seizure, if it was one, then Slender was surely the one causing this torment.

With his hands on his throat he looked up, shaking like a scared puppy he tries to get anything out of the faceless man.

Then it all stopped, his body doesn't stop all at once though, he had to calm himself down or else he would end up giving himself a seizure.

He slumps down onto the cold moist ground, rubbing his neck from the soreness of his previous choking.

averting his eyes to the faceless man, thankfully he was gone.

He sighed an air filled sigh, he then proceeds to strip himself of his facial accessories.

He could metaphorically feel the wetness of sweat being evaporated from his face, it began to cool as soon as he took off his clouded goggles.

It was so refreshing.

He was currently trying to force his tics to calm down. It didn't always work, him forcing them to calm down but it would be a hell of a lot easier for him when they did.

Thankfully, in his favor they calmed down. He plops over, his back now soaking up the fresh dew of the morning grass.

He looked up that the deep dark blue sky, he could see some stars and the full moon. He noticed that at the edge of the sky was purple, indicating that morning was on it's way up.

And if he wanted to live to see tomorrow, he would have to find Jeff as soon as possible.

If Jeff ended up getting too curious then it could place (y/n) in all of this mess. She didn't need to be apart of any of this. She was just a hurt girl who was going through things, just like he had gone through.

She didn't need to surround herself around anymore blood and pain.

In reality though, she was dealing with much worse.

She was currently locked in a closet, humming to herself. She had yet another night terror.

The bags under her eyes looked dark and had a sense of dread to them, and that's all the girl had felt. Dread.

The thoughts were harming the poor girls mentality.

Even in the dark she sees things, there's masks surrounding her. Some were smiling masks some were sad there were even a few mad one, all of them were different. Some of them had feathers and some were glittered.

All of them had something in common though, they were all laughing at her.

Closing her eyes she tries to count sheep, numbers, anything that could get her mind to go elsewhere.

Maybe leaving her alone wasn't such a good idea.
