"Can you make me a quick coffee, May?" I call out to my maid as I walk into the sitting room, grabbing the remote control I sat down on the sofa to watch the morning news.

"Your coffee, sir" May said as she place it down

"Thanks'' I replied with my eyes fully concerted on the TV and use my free hand which wasn't holding the remote to wave her off, the remote control was placed on my occupied hands as I brows e through the TV stations; I was still trying to get the TV station of my best interest when I heard my phone ringing from my room

"May, can you please get my phone for me" I called out at her

Ten seconds later, she brought my phone

"Hello brother" the voice on the other line beeped at me. I come from a family of five, Lorcan happening to be my older brother

"Hey horse, how are you"

Chucking lightly, he replied "Am good, just checking up on you and to ask whether you are still coming to see me race tomorrow"
"Come on bro, you know I won't miss it for the world"
As we keep on talking, the TV station came alive into my ear " The yesterday Annually arts and crafts exhibition shall always be a day to remember in history, as twenty five years old Rosalie Powers popularly known as Rosa performed with her unaltered amazing voice at the exhibition, which took place at vanguard hall yesterday, the exhibition was recorded to have over a thousand people in attendance, consisting of world recognised artisans, curators of popular museums and lovers of arts like..."

"Hello!, hello!, Aiden are you there?"

My brother voice brought me back to the call

"Yes, I am. Can you call me back, Lorcan and don't worry I will surely come"

" No problem, bye" he hung up as I gave the TV back my undivided attention

"Rosa was the last person to perform in the exhibition, even though she just left another rehabilitation centre she is still strong as ever"

I mute the TV after the social news and call my manager

"Hey Gideon"

"Hey yourself"

"I thought you said the arts exhibition are no longer inviting any musician to perform, why will they pick her over me"

"I don't know Aiden, I was also surprised, am sorry"

I hung up and smash my phone against the wall, which made May running out of the kitchen

"Are you okay, Sir" she ask, worry showing on her face

"Am okay, you can go" I said as I grab my car keys and head out.

I was going to the gym before I saw the news and that won't stop me from still going to the gym even if it already spoiled my good mood.

I just don't get it, both Rosa and I are musicians, she makes good music so do I, but it seems she know a way to always have the limelight to herself. Of course, we are not the only musicians in US there are millions out there but we have always been opponents as long as I could remember, from billboards rankings, to rantings, to who get invited for a particular show or who wins this particular award. We are always at a tie, to the extent we always get nominated for the same awards which most of the time she wins.
I don't seems to understand anything special about her, she is a bitch and a fucking drug addict. She doesn't care , prefer to waste money on rehabilitation centres in the name of getting better just to get sympathy from the public. I deeply resents her actions.

I have never had a conversation with her anyways, the highest I have done is congratulating her after winning an award, I prefer to hold my tongue than waste it on someone who doesn't deserve it.

I found an empty spot and park my car, as I was about to get down, a call came in. I smiled to myself when I saw the caller, she definitely know when to call.

"Hey sis"

"Hey big boy! hope you slept well? just calling to remind you of that family dinner is this Sunday evening, Yeah, bye!"

I smiled as she ends the call, as expected she always on the rush.felling better than before, I got down and walk in the gym, all thanks to my world favourite sister for lightning up my mood.
