His name is Adam "Sky" Butter.

He came from a... less rich family, I guess you can say.

It wasn't a very good living, but he had fun. The villagers said that they weren't glad when Sky would have fun and show games to the other kids, cause he was known for being reckless. Not caring about the world. Daring and courageous, he was also kind and helped out the little kids, despite all the bad-mouthing he had.

Then the flood.

"SKY!" Sky balanced on a tree, holding his hand out.

"Grab it!" Screaming as the flood pushed a boy away, Sky ran to the other side, dangling down from a branch and grabbing him. Repeating the process, Sky looked around, saving the adults and anybody else. Scrambling up the tree, he spotted one of the pets a villager had.

"Don't risk it!"

"Adam, don't do it!"

"It's too dangerous!"

"I don't care, I'm saving as much as I can before myself!" Swinging down the tree, Adam reached down, placing the kitten on a roof. "Stay, okay?"

"ADAM-"

Crack, went the branch.

Adam fell into the raging waters, flailing and screaming. Submerged and back out, he tried to grab onto something, but when his head was banged against a tree, his vision went black. Sky could hear his friends and family yelling at him.

"ADAM!"

______

"... flood... think he'll... over here... has a chance... castle..."

"His... know... village... maybe..." Sky felt himself being picked up, unknown voices in the background. Trying to wake up, all he knew that he had a killer headache and his ears were ringing to the Nether. Ugh, he felt like shit. Was his leg broken or did he twist his ankle?

"He seemes alright for now. Can't say for sure till the royal botanist looks at it." Feeling something soft hit his cheek, Sky assumed that he was lying on a cushion or mat. He heard something close, and the place he was in beginning to move. Horse chops were outside. Carriage?

"News report from more of the farther villages, there was a flood."

"Any survivors?"

"All, but one. They say that the person that fell into the water saved all their lives and all their pets."

"So this one is the savior?"

"Hm... the description is accurate."

"Do you think the Prince would like him?"

"That is, if he doesn't go back to the village."

"They said that they didn't like him. It's a shame, he risked his life."

"Think he's going to make it?"

"Maybe, that's up to the royal botanist."

"And the Prince."

"True, true." Sky heard people outside, some music playing. Going unconscious again, he hoped that he would be safe.

_________

"A few bruises, cuts, nothing major. Bit heavy on the water, in a few days it should clear out. He should be fine." Sky groaned, rubbing his head. The heavy smell of herbal medicines and plants hit his nose, making him a bit uneasy. "How do you feel?"

"What is that smell?"

"Spice of garlic, slight mistake for the chili and wet wood. Nutmeg and cinnamon accident." Sky sat up, a melon human writing notes. "Works to wake patients up after treatment, though."

"Who are you? Where am I?"

"I'm the royal botanist, or healer. Bashur." Bash looked up at Sky above his 3-D glasses. "You're in the greenhouse of the Lox Castle." Sky widened his eyes.

"The LOX Castle?! As in Deadlox?!"

"What other Lox is there?" Bash rolled his eyes, Sky sitting on the side of the table. "Oh, are those the new plants I ordered?"

"Yes, Sir Bashur."

"Jason, just call me Bash! You know in the castle you don't need to use formalities."

"Way I was brought up, sorry." Looking over, Sky widened his eyes.

Jason was a short male, soft chestnut hair, and deep blue eyes. Wearing a blue and grey outfit, Sky quickly turned away when Jason looked at him.

"Who is he, Sir Bashur?"

"Bash, Jason. And this is Sky, or Adam. He saved his village people but got swept away in the flood."

"Hi." Sky waved, Jason shyly waving back.

"Ty should have given you the astronomy dome, has he?"

"They're almost done with the key." Leaving, Jason looked back at Sky with a light blush across his cheeks. "S-See you around, Mr. Sky." Sky blushed as Jason left. Bash snickered.

"Ty needs to see you soon, get off cloud nine already."

I do know what Sky's real name is, but for privacy of theirs even if they don't mind their name being used I'm creating a new name. Same applies for the others.
