Time I thought of this: While playing Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion
When Noodle first saw she was being shipped with the boys, she started uncontrollably crying. She begged them to buy her Pocky and the movie "Love, Simon" after she had told them what she had seen.
Thinking it was a joke, they saw for themselves. They ended up ordering pizza and Chinese for dinner that night, also now crying and watching The Fault in Our Stars, which made their crying worse.
