Yuu ran through the halls, his eyes scanning the numerous doors as he went past them. He found himself questioning on why he was doing this extracurricular activity, even though he knew the answer: Daemon.

The man thought he was less than average in activities that involved physical fitness. So then his expression changed into one that dripped with sadistic enthusiasm... just remembering it gave Yuu shivers. He claimed that the activity would allow him to strengthen him in his poor physical capabilities, stamina and endurance especially, that's what Asari translated.

Still, Yuu began breathing heavily as he thought bitterly, the monsters that he created had an insane amount of agility despite their humongous size.

His vision began blurring.

Gritting his teeth, Yuu pushed his tired legs and barged into the corridor that led downstairs with its gigantic stairs.

His mind whizzed at the possibilities.

He could throw himself at the stairs to avoid the punishment... but then that would hurt.

He glanced at the rail.

His eyes traveled towards the wall.

He didn't know if the law of physics would grant him his safety, but he had no time to think of the consequences with how the distance was shrinking...

He didn't even want to turn around to see...

With the last burst of his strength, Yuu bolted for the wall. Bent down slightly and jumped, the few seconds on the wall he repeated the process, hoping to whatever was out there that he would make it over the rail.

Pushing himself off the wall, he was surprised at the length of his flight.

The rail passed by underneath him.

And he soon found himself falling.

From the second floor.

Looking at the fast approaching ground, he braced himself for the impact by maneuvering his body into the universal safety position that he had read online some years back out of curiosity.

The fall soon came to an abrupt halt.

Not because of the ground.

A yell of semi-gibberish came up from above him so he looked up at the person who spoke.

It was Giotto.

His fall was broken by Giotto.

He was half relieved that he hadn't hit the ground, but still slightly disappointed that he couldn't test how effective the safety position would be from the height of the second story.

His shoulders were grabbed causing him to look up at the worried looking Giotto. The gibberish came back, words that he still hadn't learned yet. He really couldn't blame Giotto for forgetting that he was still learning the basics of Italian...

Giotto then turned his face to look up at Daemon, continuing his yells of gibberish.

Yuu looked up as well.

His gaze collided with Daemon's.

Daemon then gave a smirk, laughing.

The adrenaline finally melted away, causing Yuu to touch with the reality of what he had actually done.

He squatted and covered his face with his hands, giving out a small groan.

Staying with these people will surely dull his danger radar.
