The pulling of wires halted Victoria's movements as she tried to hang her head in defeat, but all the tangled cords prevented her, leading her to let out a groan because apparently, she couldn't even wear headphones correctly. Surrounded by music professionals, and there she was, making a fool out of herself. It wasn't like this was anything new to her, after two months of working with writers, Victoria and the boys had finally been in the recording studio for almost three weeks, yet she still couldn't get a handle on what was happening.

"It's alright Victoria! Let's just try it back one more time! Why don't we just start from the chorus, yeah?" Nadir, more commonly known as RedOne and one of the producers for the first album, pushed the intercom button and his voice echoed within the booth, causing her to look up and out through the windows; to all the guys sitting on the plush sofas and rolling chairs the studio held, just staring at her. The room wasn't huge, just big enough to fit all the personnel essential to creating the band's first ever album, the walls were covered in a light wash wood which apparently helped with the acoustics, and a few pieces of colorful art hung from the walls. Louis was sprawled out on the far corner sofa with Liam's legs thrown over his own, while they both scrolled through their phones. Harry was seated at the mixing console, just intently watching another producer on their team - Tom Meredith - work, and Niall was sitting on the farthest couch with Kelly Clarkson, as this was a song given to One Direction by her.

Having the One Direction team reach out and tell her band that the Kelly Clarkson wanted them to have a song she had written was absolutely mad in it of itself, but then to hear that Kelly was going to sit in while the five of them recorded it literally made Victoria pee a little. Kelly was an international popstar, who wanted to watch her record a song on her first album. All Victoria could think was "what is happening to my life?"

"Yeah. I'm sorry guys. I promise this will be the one." As the music began playing yet again, Liam gave Victoria a thumbs up, causing any nerves to settle momentarily, and she were able to belt out her vocals, "Tell me I'm a screwed up mess..."

Being in the recording studio was something Victoria had imagined her entire life; and to be standing in the booth, looking around and seeing her boys, producers, Kelly Clarkson, and label executives, she had an out of body experience. She was seventeen years old and were living her dreams. Seriously, what the hell happened to her life?

Harrow, England is a quaint little town filled with beautiful old brick homes, luscious greenery at every corner, kind hearted people usually clad in jumpers, and where Victoria was lucky enough to get to grow up. So walking into the huge modern building with glass windows as tall as her house and people in posh suits wandering in and out, was a bit of change for her. Liam, Louis, Niall, and Harry all walked in front of her, taking their time looking at the marble floors and insanely shiny walls covered in photographs of artists Victoria had listened to on the radio for her entire life. Olly Murs, Westlife, Sinitta, and so many more recognizable faces stared back at her as she followed a large man, in a tightly fitted suit, down the halls of SYCO Entertainment.

"Can you believe we're in the same offices people like Leona Lewis have been in? I listened to Bleeding Love like everyday after school when it came out, mum even told me to shut up once because of it." Victoria mumbled to Harry as she picked up her pace so she didn't fall too far behind the group.

"I feel like I'm on a different planet in this place." he chuckled

"What if we're on these walls one day?"

"What do you mean 'what if'? We're gonna smash it lads, of course we're gonna be on these walls." Louis was always good at making Victoria's heart rate drop when it got a bit too high, and being led to an unknown fate at the end of the hallway by an extremely large stranger definitely had her blood pressure rising.
