Hundreds of screaming fans, taking up city streets, shopping malls, and music stores, made their way across the screen in front of them, all chanting 'One Direction' and holding their cameras up high in hopes of getting their perfect shot.

"A year ago, five contestants each shared the same burning ambition; to become the next singing superstar. This is their story. This is One Direction."

The conference table seemed incredibly smaller than the last time they were all in Simon's office, as not only were the five of them seated around it, but also Simon, his assistant, the band's tour manager Paul, his assistant and 1D's security guard, Mark. After weeks of watching fans pick their favorite parts the bands first ever documentary - One Direction; A Year In The Making - they had received a call that a second tour was in talks and Simon wanted to meet with them. Never in Tori's wildest dreams did she ever think that she would be here; watching a documentary about herself and her best friends, just weeks after finishing her first world tour, and about to plan her second world tour. But it was happening, and she was watching clips of their screaming fans, goofy videos that were filmed while promoting the album on radio shows, some of their shows, a very excited Niall during their first private helicopter ride, all while the paperwork for album number two sat right in front of her.

It was a bit alarming, how badly they all wanted to get back in the studio to start writing and recording again while on their first tour. It was all that was thought about, day and night, constantly jotting down ideas and melodies that came to their minds. The entire band spent the mornings before shows writing in their hotel rooms, recording during the few months they had off between tour dates, and finalizing what was to be their second album. Tori had found herself many times wondering how her life had gotten to this point. To the point where enough fans liked her band enough that she were allowed to make another album.

But she loved it, nonetheless. Loved the entire process of creating new music, but more important, she loved this new album. Of course, Up All Night would always have an extremely large piece of her heart, but this new album? Tori didn't know they could be as proud of themselves as they all were with the second album; Take Me Home.

Naming this album wasn't nearly as difficult as it was the first time around. After spending months on the road and away from their families, the band all got homesick. It was a natural feeling and something they all related on. So, knowing that they would potentially be doing it all over again after the release of this album, the name seemed fitting.

So now here they were, all seated around the conference table in Simon's notorious office, one he only ever called them to when he had news to tell them, waiting to hear the fate of their touring future. All they had to do was sit through their film, one that Tori had watched many times already, but never with her team or the boys, and wait for Simon to speak up.

"It's crazy how many huge things you can fit into one year. How much stuff you can do." Tori's voice popped up over the speakers while continuing to show miscellaneous clips of the band during the past year.

"In 2010, five contestants auditioned for The X Factor." the narrator made everything in the film seem unbelievably dramatic, like some sort of action film, and it made Tori chuckle.

But, as much as the narrator gave the film a bit of added drama she thought was corny, she also provided the band's own form of home movie that the five members would have to look back on for the rest of their lives. Getting to sit and rewatch their X Factor journey, the journey that completely changed their lives, while sitting in the office of the man who literally created their careers, a chart topping album and world tour under their belts, felt like they'd come full circle. As the film progressed and showed the stages of X Factor, it was quite apparent how much the band had matured since the beginning. Both Tori and Harry's hair had gotten much longer, Liam had embraced his curly locks, Niall had grown into his chubby cheeks, Louis' hair had a style to it and not to mention the band's fashion sense as a whole was starting to get much better. The one thing that seemed to remain the same, and was accurately depicted on the screen, was just how close the five of them were in their daily lives.
