I texted Maddie like 3 hours ago but no response. I know she can be busy but no 'I'll text you later'?! Oliver came running up stairs and said

I shot up from sitting down and got my shoes on. I ran downstairs and left the house and searched for Maddie.
4 hours later
I still didn't find Maddie. What if she is dead? I felt a stream of tears falling down my face. The thought of her being dead brought more tears. I need to find Maddie. I should have confessed to her.

Derik left me alone in the bedroom still tied up and with little coverage. I was so scared. I was crying so much that it was to the point where no tears fell. I looked around and saw that there was a knife on the dresser besides the bed. There's a chance that I could get out of here alive!
