Leslie couldn't help but to smile at the sight before him, never had he seen a more beautiful sight. Lay on a sunbed, all cuddled up together were Mateo and Angelica. Angelica's head rests on Mateo's chest, his arm is wrapped tightly around her as he snores quietly. The two look perfect together, each complement one another in separate ways. Leslie couldn't help but feel happy for them, he knew that Mateo liked Angelica more than he had ever liked anyone in his entire life. This detail reassured Leslie that Mateo wouldn't hurt his daughter, his heart swells at the idea of the two becoming a couple.
"Leslie? I need you to call the pool cleaner-" Joyce is cut off by the sight of the couple asleep, a deep frown falling upon her aged features. "What's going on here? Mateo starts his shift in a few hours." Leslie smiles with a small shrug, earning a roll of the eyes from his boss, "Mateo! Wake up this instant!" she kicks the sunbed hard enough to wake the two.
Angelica frowns, her memory a little foggy as she tries to adjust to the sunlight that cast itself on her and Mateo. Leslie frowns at Joyce, annoyed that she had ruined the peaceful moment. Mateo simply groans as his eyes remain closed and his grip tightens around Angelica. This simple act causes Angelica to giggle as she strokes Mateo's face in an attempt to wake him, "Mateo, wake up."
A smile appears on his face as he opens his eyes to look at her "but I like this position" he sends her a wink causing her to roll her eyes with a grin.
"Mateo!" Joyce's loud voice rings out, startling Mateo into an upright position, his eyes wide in surprise.
Angelica smirks as she glances to him, before turning her attention to her father who was smiling at her. "I'm sorry but we cannot have the staff sleeping on site, especially on a sunbed with another staff member."
Angelica stands and stares at Joyce, "I'm not a member of your staff." Angelica retorts.
Mateo grins and stands, brushing the imaginary dirt off his clothing. Joyce sighs in annoyance "nevertheless, I must insist that this little cuddle fest never repeats itself" she gestures wildly around the couple. Leslie nods as if the statement was targeted at him making Angelica grin.
Mateo nods, "Yes, Miss Temple-Savage."
Joyce scowls but leaves, clearly having other more important things to deal with. Leslie chuckles as he eyes Angelica and Mateo, each stood with a smile gracing their faces. "Good night?" Angelica kisses her father on the cheek with a soft pat on his shoulder, "in the end it was" she sends Mateo a grin, before heading off to her apartment, she only had an hour before her shift at the salon started.

Forty-five minutes later and Angelica was already on her way to the Solana, the previous night's events playing on her mind. She was still in shock over Darren's appearance, she was afraid that he'd show up again and threaten her. She knew that Mateo meant his words, the way he looked into her eyes made that much clear. He was slowly growing on her, her mind seemed to constantly flicker to him. She smiles softly to herself, she liked Mateo, more than she probably should.
She walks into the Solana with a soft smile, Mateo and Leslie stand behind the reception, they were clearly checking some of the guests out. Her eyes meet Mateo's as he smirks over at her, his eyes scanning her body as she walked by and into the salon. She truly was the picture of beauty, and God did he want to have her, all of her.
"Morning, Liam" she places her bag on the desk before switching the lights on, she could hear him moving around in the back-storage room, must be stocking the shelves she thought. She turns the sign on the salon to open, before turning around, her mouth goes dry as she jumps in surprise. Darren stood at the entrance to the storage room with a glare, his eyes on her as he spins a pair of scissors on his finger.
"Hello, Gelica." he steps towards her with an innocent smile, "let's go for breakfast, we can discuss your return to the UK with me."
A scoff leaves her lips as she seats herself behind the desk, she refused to show fear. "I'm not hungry, nor am I going anywhere with you, let alone the UK" she shakes her head as she sorts through the appointment book, she had two clients today, her first one was due in half an hour so she had enough time to have a nice cup of coffee.
Darren growls as he storms towards her, "you will go wherever I tell you to go!" she steps back feeling her back hit the wall, he stood inches in front of her, his breath smelling heavily of alcohol yet he didn't appear to be the least bit drunk. Her heart thumps as she tries to supress her fear, she wasn't ready to let him see her afraid of him again. She wanted to be brave, to show him that he no longer had the control he craved over her.
She takes a step forward causing him to back up only a little, a look of accomplishment crosses his features, clearly, he thought he had convinced her to go with him. "No." she stares him down defiantly.
"What do you mean, no?!"
She rolls her eyes trying to act normal, "it means I'm not going anywhere with you. We are over. Done. Capeesh?" her tone is confident as she stares into his eyes, her fear was being overtaken by a feeling of complete courage. Darren's hand wraps around her neck as he pins her against the wall, his lips inches from hers as he growls through clenched teeth.
"Your mine. That greasy barman better keeps his hands off you or I'll have him taken care of. You of all people know what I'm capable of" he smirks darkly as Angelica gulps. She didn't want to get Mateo hurt, nor did she want to get anyone else hurt. She wouldn't allow it; her heart broke at the thought of leaving her family so soon. Her gaze drops to the floor as she thinks her options through, her heart breaking as she spoke.
"Okay, you win. I'll come with you."
