Chapter twelve

Part two- chapter twelve.
I'm what?

Getting up I still had a smile plastered on my face. Hurrying up and getting dressed, sadly in my work uniform but too happy not to really care. I ran to the bathroom, doing my morning routine. Then heading out of the house.

Arriving at work. I still had a fifteen minutes left before I had to clock in, so I order some eggs. Hurrying up and eating I quickly, clocked in and began the day.

After maybe a hour of being here, Jared, Kim, and Paul all came in and sitting down. Smiling I walked over.
"Hey guys, what can I get you guys?" I asked they all looked at me shocked.
"I didn't know you worked here?" Kim said.
"Yeah. For a while now. I'm trying to save up enough money to finally move out of dads place. Bella usually always is sneaking her boyfriend in and I don't really wanna be in the crossfire when dad finds out." I said laughing.
"she is still dating the leech?" Jared asked.
"What do you think? Okay, now what do you guys want?" I asked
"2 Eggs, bacon, 5 pancakes and some oatmeal." Jared said.
"Same thing for me." Paul said.
"I'll just take two pancakes." Kim said laughing.
"Okay, it will be out in a little while." I said smiling at them, then walking back to the cook telling them what they wanted.

Paul-

"So, did you want to come here because of him?" Jared asked smirking.
"No, I seriously didn't know he worked here." I told them.
"It don't matter are you gonna tell him about the imprint thing tonight?" Kim asked.
"Um, yeah. Hopefully he doesn't run and hate me." I said looking down.
"Paul, Alex is already like your best friend. He wouldn't reject you." She said smiling at me reassuringly. I nodded,
"I'm, just scared. If he does reject me, I don't know what I Would do." I said,
"Paul, are you still worrying about your imprint. I told you that they would accept you." I heard Alex's voice come behind me. As he placed our food down on the table.
"Yep, but I am going to tell him today." I said smiling.
"Good, hopefully everything goes alright, and if he does reject you he is a asshole, and has very bad judgement over who he is friends with." He said. We all looked at him shocked.
"Damn, he must really be mad. I thought he would never cuss." Jared said.
"What it's true, and don't get used to it. That felt really weird, I don't like it." He said. I smiled, I didn't like it when he cussed, he seemed to innocent for it. It didn't sound right coming out of him mouth.
"Yeah, never do it again. It sounded wrong." I said laughing. He smiled at me.

God that smile. It could make a human come back to life.

Smiling I walked back to the counter, only a couple more hours.

Time skip

I drove over to Emily's, hoping Paul was there since I didn't know where he lived.

Pulling up, I got out. Grabbing my coat and slipping it on.
Walking in, I smiled, seeing almost everyone here.

"Heyy." I heard Kim say.
"Hello." I said smiling at her.
"Is Paul here?" I asked.
"Yeah." I heard someone say they came out of the bathroom.
"Hey." I said smiling st him.
"Are you ready?" He asked.
"Yeah. Let's go." I said. Telling everyone bye before walking out.
"My car or yours?" I asked.
"Mine, I don't like riding passenger." He said, looking at me. I nodded.
Getting into his truck.
"So where we going?" He asked.
"I'm hungry I ain't ate anything since breakfast and it's dinner time." I said. He smiled.
"Okay, then food it is." He said laughing.

On the way there we made small talk, while we ate we made small talk.

On the way home. Paul pulled over on the side of the road.
"Are you finally gonna kill me?" I asked him smirking.
"No but I do need to talk to you." He said.
"Oh, this is serious. Okay." I said.
"Um you know how I told you I was gonna tell my imprint today, that I had imprinted on him?" He asked.
"Yeah, how'd it go." I said.
"I don't know yet." He replied.
"What do you mean you don't know yet? Did you back out."
"No, I didn't. I just ain't really done it yet." He said looking down.
"Paul, he would be stupid to reject you, okay. Why are you worrying so much about this?"
"Well, because I've kept a secret from you, and from everyone." I looked at him confused.
"What do you mean?"
"When I was in the 7th grade, I noticed that guys were attractive. I started to swing away from girls, but I thought that it was bad what I was thinking, because no one else in la push was gay. So I forgot about it all." He said. Looking any where but at me.
"Well, that's good, at least your sex life still has achance" I said smiling at him.
He chuckled.
"Yeh, but I don't know what the guys would say.... so I told them all that the imprint didn't really meN anything sexual wise." He told me.
"Listen, they all love you like they are your actual brother. They accepted me. They would do the same for you." I told him.
"Yeah, But I'm worried my imprint won't like me, that's why I'm so scared of telling him." He said.
"Okay, tomorrow. Tell him, you can call me before you do and I will help you calm down." I said.
"Yeah, that's the thing. I wanna tell him right now." He said.
"Well, What are you waiting for. Take me back to Emily's then go tell him." I said smiling at him.
"Yeah That was be needed." He said.
"Why Paul you are really confusing me." I said.
"Think about it, the very first time I met you, I stopped mid sentence and stood their like a dumb, calling you adorable when you blushed, not being able to stop smiling when you're in the room, not being able to go to sleep with out thinking about you, or when I wake up. Every single time you have looked at me I was already looking at you.
The bad thing was, the first time I called you adorable, you pushed me away.... that is the reason I was so scared. To tell you that you Alex are my imprint. I thought you didn't like me." He finished looking once again any where but me.
"Paul... your saying this Who time when we was talking about your imprint, you was talking about me, the other day. When you messaged me asking if someone in the pact imprinted on me what would I do... when Kim told me that she knew something that you didn't tel me yet, this morning. I was talking about myself..." I said, he nodded.
"Well, I can't reject. You because the reason I pulled away that night, was because we had just talked about your imprint.. and I didnt want to get hurt." I told him looking at him, he looked up at me. Smiling.
"So, bestfriend?" I asked.
"Yeah for now." He said smiling. Then pulled back out and drove out.
