They arrived in egypt, Lilly got dressed in the clothes that she was given when she first arrived to egypt, they still fit her like a glove. She got Asim ready for the long journey, she got on Asim and followed Rick and the others that were in the car while Ardeth went to the other medjai.
They arrived at the place Rick said was the Magic carpet, Lilly got off Asim as everyone got out of the car. Eve questioned her husband, "This is the magic carpet?" Rick walked in front of the car along with Eve and Lilly, "He'll be fine. He's a professional." a man wearing an eye patch came out and stopped as he saw the group standing in front of his business, Rick tried pulling off a friendly smile as he held his arms open as if welcoming a friend as he said, "Izzy!" the man screamed as he realized who was in the front of the group and ran back inside and locked the door.
Rick frowned, "Hey!" Lilly sighed in frustration, "He definitely remembers you." Rick tried to give Lilly a look of reassurance as he replied, "He's a little shy." he took out his gun and shot the lock. Eve whined a little bit, "Honey, you're not a very subtle man." Rick put his gun away and looked at Eve, "We don't have time for subtle." he then kicked the door open and went after Izzy, Lilly looked at her brother and said, "Jhon get the bags." he looked at his sister and said, "My hands are full." in a single hand he held the gold statue, Lilly ripped it away from his hands and glared at him, Jonathan gulped in fear at the look his sister gave him and said, "Right I'll get the bags." and went to get the bags.
Lilly walked up to Rick and Eve as she heard Izzy say, "and I see him waltzing up with some belly dancing girl." Lilly raised a brow as she and Eve looked at Rick saying, "Belly dancing girl?" Eve continued talking, "Izzy I think you and I should talk." Rick tried to give them an innocent look but it was not really working.
Izzy looks at Eve, "As long as I don't get shot." Rick rolled his eyes, "Quit your whining. Your gonna get paid this time." Rick tosses a bundle of money at Izzy, Izzy holds onto it then looks at Rick as he packs the money into his shirt pocket, "O'Connell, have you looked around here any?Huh? What do I need money for? What the hell am I gonna spend it on?" Lilly at this point was done. From losing her nephew, to the stress of it all, to these mixed emotions she's been having of Imhotep, she was just done, she pushed Rick aside and pinned Izzy to a shelf as she used the gold statue to point out into the desert as she said, "I'm gonna keep this short. My nephew is out there. I'm gonna do whatever it takes to get him back." It was silent as Izzy started at the gold statue in Lilly hand, Lilly noticed and moved it slightly keeping it in Izzy sights as he followed it, while making little noises.
Lilly rose her brow with a small smirk playing on her lips, Izzy swallowed and said, "Girl if you give me that gold stick there, you can shave my head, wax my legs and use me for a surfboard." Rick looked at Izzy confused as he asked, "Didn't we do that in Tripoli?" Lilly gave Izzy the golden statue as he looked at Rick awkwardly and went back staring at the gold artifact in his hands.
Curiosity took hold of Lily as she asked Izzy, "When did you lose your eye?" Izzy laughed, "Oh, I didn't." he lifted it up so Lilly was looking at both eyes, "I just thought it made me more dashing." he wheezed laughed. Lilly giggled quietly as Rick rolled his eyes and pulled the eye patch off Izzy head, "Come on. Get to work." Izzy then went to to talk to some people as Rick looked at Lilly, he asked, "You okay?" Lilly nodded, "Yea, just worried for Alex's well being. I don't like that woman that we saw at the museum." Rick nodded and hugged his sister-in-law, "It's gonna be okay, Alex has Eve's smarts, my strength, and your cunningness. He'll find a way to let us know where he is." Lilly nodded as she hugged Rick back tightly, "Your right." they pulled away from the hug as Izzy walked toward them and the sound of horse's running.
They walked to the entrance as Izzy told Eve, "You're not exactly catching me at my best." Eve smiled at him, "I'm sure we are." Lilly grabbed ahold of Asim reins as they saw the medjai on their horse's, as Ardeth got of his horse and walked toward them Lilly heard Izzy say in the background, "I knew it. I'm gonna get shot." Lilly smiled at Ardeth.
Ardeth bowed to Lilly as he told Rick, "These are the commanders of the 12 tribes of the medjai." he then faced the the commanders and lifted his arm, "Horus!" a falcon that was on the commanders arm then flew toward Ardeth at the sound of his name and landed on Ardeth arm. Ardeth smiled at the bird as Jonathan said, "Pet bird." Ardeth gave Jonathan a blank stare as he replied back, "My best and most clever friend." he gently stroke the falcon chest feathers as the falcon preened under the attention, Lilly smiled at Ardeth and the bird as she stroked Asim mane, "He will let the commanders know of our progress so they may follow." he faced the commanders and lifted his right arm as he spoke to the 12 commanders, "Allah uo manha.(Did I spell that right?)" they repeated the words back to him as they lifted their arms and brought it down to their hearts.
Ardeth brought his arm down to his heart and the 12 commanders took off on their horse's leaving a trail of dust in their wake. Ardeth, "If the Army of Anubis arises, they will do all they can to stop it." he looked at Rick as Rick nodded at him.
They left to the take off area, as they walked to their transportation Eve asked Rick, "Rick, are you sure Izzy's reliable?" Rick, "Yeah, yeah he's reliable...ish." Lilly rose her brow, "Ish?" they came around a corner to see a blimp, Rick was not happy.
Izzy walked up to them and asked, "Isn't she beautiful?" Rick, "It's a balloon." Izzy gave an exasperated happy look, "Oh! It's a dirigible." Rick, "Where's your airplane?" Izzy laughed, "Airplanes are a thing of the past." Lilly at this point was ticked off, "Izzy, Rick was right." Izzy was confused and so was Rick, "He was?/I was?" Lilly nodded as she took Rick's gun, "Your gonna get shot." she was about to shot him when Izzy held his hands up in a 'don't shoot me' manner, "Woah, woah, woah. She's faster than she looks. And she's quiet. Real quiet." he then walked up to them as Lilly lowered the gun and Rick took it from her hands.
Izzy then started listing the advantages of the aircraft, "Perfect for sneaking up on people, which is a very good thing." he then looks a Rick, "Unless, of course, we go with your approach. Barging in face-first, guns blazing, and getting your friends shot in the ass!" Rick shrugged at Eve as he gave a small sigh of defeat. Ardeth looked at the aircraft and sighed having flashbacks to his first time in an aircraft, "Why can't you people ever keep your feet to the ground?" Lilly smiled as she walked past Ardeth to the aircraft, "Cause we feel like we're flying for even just a fleeting moment like Horus." they all got on the dirigible and took off to the sky's.
