The Mummy Returns (Imhotep Love Story)

Chapter 3

Imhotep was hurt as he saw his once friend fight against him, he watched as she ran up the stairs firing her weapon, through the many years he has not seen Senna she still had that fire in her eyes as she fights and protect those she cares about. Imhotep shook himself out of his thoughts and grabbed a vase of sand. He chanted to it and released the soldiers inside as they did his bidding and chased after Senna, the woman, and the two med-jai.

As Lilly and the others arrived at the car Rick yells, "Wheres Jonathan!?" then a double decker bus pulls up in front of them and in the driver's seat was Jonathan, Lilly raised her brow at her brother, "Really John..." he then pointed at Alex, "It wasn't my idea it was his!" Lilly rolled her eyes and dragged Rick to the bus entrance as he was about to complain.

Jonathan started driving the bus as Rick and Lilly looked backed at the museum to see mummies bust through the museum walls and crush Rick car. Ricked glared at the mummies, "Oh I hate mummies." Ardeth gave Rick a look and asked, "Are you happy to see me now?" Rick playfully glared at Ardeth, "Just like old times." Lilly giggled, "Get used to it Rick, I have a feeling we'll be seeing them for a while." Rick glared at her then at Ardeth and went to the second floor of the bus.

Lilly glanced at her sister and nephew as gunshots went off, she stood protectively in front of Alex along with Evie as they let the two men handle the work. As Ardeth was re-loading his gun the mummy he was shooting at earlier came in holding onto the bus bars, it tossed Ardeth around with one arm, causing Ardeth to lose his gun. Ardeth threw a few punches at it as if it were a punching bag causing it to land on the bus bench. It then got up and looked at its right hand as its nails grew several inches like claws, it the faced Ardeth and slashed at him drawing blood.

Lilly aimed her gun at it as Jonathan swerved the bus on Eve orders to stop the mummy from causing anymore damage to Ardeth, but the mummy slashed her gun away. It raised its arm to slash her, just as its brought it down it was blown to bits. Lilly looked at Eve, "Thanks." Eve nodded and took a breath and went back to checking on Alex to make sure he was okay. Ardeth slumped against the bus exhausted, Lilly sat next to him and tended to his wound just as Rick came down, "Is everyone alright?" nods went around the bus as Johnathan pulled the bus to a stop on the bridge. Lilly looked at Ardeth as she finished wrapping up his wounds, "You okay?" he nodded, "This was...my first bus ride." Lilly smiled and giggled, I swear not all bus rides are like this." Ardeth smiled back at her chuckling, "I'll take your word for it." Rick rolled his eyes his eyes and made his way to Eve as she made a come here motion.

Eve wrapped her arms around Rick neck and asked, "What would I do without you?" Rick scoffed and replied, "Are all libraries this much trouble?" Rick and Eve kissed as Alex made a noise in disgust, "Oh jeez, get a room." Lilly rolled her eyes at her sister and brother-in-law antics. She doubled checked Ardeth wounds as Alex went to the end of the bus and looked up at the double decker bus steps.

As Alex looked back at his family to see his mother and father still holding onto each other, his Aunt Lilly tending the wounds of the man in black while scolding his uncle John a hand came over his mouth but slipped as it did not have a good grip on him, he screamed, "Let me go!" all the adults looked toward the noise and saw Alex getting kidnapped as they chased after him, "Alex!" Alex was shoved into a car as Lock-nah ordered him, "Silence!" Alex continued to scream, "Stop!" Rick was the first to get out of the bus and started to chase after the car, the bridge the started to rise. Rick continued to run till he grabbed the edge of the rising bridge watching as the car that had Alex drive away, Lilly held onto her sister as her sister cried.
