You don't have to say you love me
You don't have to say nothing
You don't have to say you're mine

She was seated in the front seat of her car laying under a cosy blanket. It was still dark outside, but there were some cars already pulling up in the school parking lot. She took a bite out of her doughnut and followed it up with a sip of her coffee. As time went on, so did the cars in the parking lot. Ben startled her by knocking on her car window. She looked up she saw Ben with a smirk on his face. She loved his smile. She unlocked the door and Ben saw this as an opportunity to get in. He almost immediately took the coffee and doughnut out of her hands and took a bite and a few sips. He gave her a kiss on the forehead as a thank you. It was almost time for school and until now a majority if the cars finally pulled up.

Ben had his hand placed on her upper thigh. The warmth of his hand went straight through the thin fabric of her sports leggings. Ben muted the volume of the radio after looking out of the window. He was nervous.

'Are you alright?' She was growing concerned about him. She placed her hand over his. Ben took her warm hand in his.

'How long are we doing this already?' He asked and could tell that she didn't know an answer. She would frown slightly and you could see her struggle to find an answer. He noticed this after only knowing her for two weeks and since then adored it. They were together for or as long as she could remember. For a split second the thought of him wanting to break up with her came to mind. The usual playful atmosphere had gone to a more serious one. One that she didn't particularly like.

'What do you mean, Ben?' She had asked.

'During the time that we've been together already, I can't remember telling you that I love you and I do love you.'

'I love you too, Ben.'

There was barely any space between them as their faces were almost touching. Their faces were maybe two inches away. All the noise had faded away in the background. This moment was only about them looking themselves deeply into the eyes which was interrupted by Aphrodite's stomach that had started to growl.

'Aph, you just ate something. Already hungry again?' His face was plastered with a smirk. She adored his nickname for her. Yes, it was simple but Ben made it special.

'You ate more than half of my doughnut!' She had protested and yet again his adorable laugh lightened up her mood. He loved the way she would get caught up in his jokes.

'I only had a small bite!'

'Sure, a small bite for a giant.' With that being said she got out of her car and started walking in the direction of their school building. Ben quickly caught up with her and threw his arm around her waist.

'I love you, Benjamin Thomas Parish.'

'A horrible decision, really.'
