A sky of blue

19th December 2018

Blue. Light blue. Periwinkle blue. Blue like the sky on a summers day. The sort of blue you can just jump into. My hands above my head where he'd left them, his hands on my hips, holding them steady.

Not three hours ago I was sitting in biology. It's like I'm a complete different girl now. I ditched my uniform as soon as I'd got home and slipped into clothes that made me look a little older. A little make up. A glass of coke to help me wake up. I knew I wasn't going to be sleeping tonight. I hoped I wasn't going to be sleeping tonight. I know how long he can go for. Hours. Not that I'd notice, it'd only feel like minuets to me; tick, tick, tick and it'd be dawn.

In my heels, I walked up to his door. I knocked. I waited. He opened the door. "Hi..." I said with a slightly awkward smile on my face. I'm not used to seeing him like this. Not in his uniform. Hair not gelled. God I hate his hair gelled. "Hello Maria" he replied. No one had called me that in so long. "It's really cold out here..." I said "oh Christ yeah, I forgot, do you want to come in?". Did he think we were going to do it in the garden? He opened the door all the way and I stepped over the thresh hold into the house. The cream carpet beneath my heels I took his hand and followed him up two flights of stairs to a light wooden door which he opened and beckoned for me to come inside. I obliged.

"So What happens now..." I whispered. He looked into my eyes. "This..." he stated. His soft lips made immediately. Brave boy. I can't remember the last time I'd been kissed so boldly. He grabbed my thigh and pulled it to his hip, taking me by surprise. He's not this Bold in English. He kissed me deeper and deeper until I needed a breath and however reluctantly pulled my head away. "Now that was amazing..." I whispered "but could you please let me have my leg back... my ankle is cracking" "well let's take some weight off it then..." he said as if he was trying to seduce me. Too late. He threw me onto his bed. Jesus. He's strong. He's not heavy. He just threw himself on top. Like he needed me. Did he? Does he? And it was under the blue of his bedroom celling that I betook myself to thinking of fantasy after fantasy thinking what would happen next biology lesson.

Blue. That's the last thing I can remember.
