Saturday 4th May 2019
I dressed myself fast after the show,
Into a blazer and black dress heels,
And into my bag I stuffed my school clothes
Walking out to the gardens I saw him there,
In his uniform, holding his spare shirt,
And talking to one of his posh friends,
As I faced him he said a short goodbye,
To his friend and a soft hello to me,
And said he must call his mother,
To get her to pick up his shirt,
"Awe can't you look after yourself?",
I giggled, and then he told me,
He was learning to drive,
With L plates on the back of the car,
And I informed him I needed,
An L plate for life
He didn't respond to my last remark,
As we walked away from the villa,
To the promenade,
And as we walked through the glass,
Gates he informed me he too needed,
An L plate for life,
Then his mother pulled up in her mini,
And took the shirt and told him,
To get changed because he looked,
Like a nob in his school suit,
Telling him he didn't need any help,
To look like a nob I said,
I didn't mind waiting,
So he went to the back of the car,
And I stood on the corner,
Beside a pillar and waited,
While a girl from school walked,
Along past me and shouted,
"Hey, where's your 'boyfriend'",
I informed her calmly,
"He's just putting his pants on"
He came out of the car in red jeans,
And looked at he closely,
And told me I looked 20 in my dress,
Not sure whether to laugh,
I simply told him we'd talk,
Once he had his belt on,
Doing it up like he was,
On an aeroplane,
He told me I did really well,
In the show,
I told him he did amazing,
Particular bobbing his head,
As he did his solo,
And that I was sorry,
Blowing me a kiss had made him,
Late on stage,
But I thought it was very sweet,
Even though the rest of the choir,
