I went out to the kitchen to see if my mom needed help because we were taking food to my uncles house. "Mama necesitas ayuda?" (Translation: Mom do you need help?) "No mija I got it," She gave me a smile. I messaged Alex to see how he was doing.

My eyes went wide at the photo he sent and my cheeks went to a light shade of red. I messaged him back.

I turned off my phone and saw my dad helping my little siblings putting on their shoes. My older brother came out of his room and messed up my hair. "Pinche jacob." I said. "Y/n do not talk like that or I will tell Alex to not go and we will not go." My mom said pointing her finger at me. I turned around and rolled my eyes.
6:30 p.m
My entire family got in the car and started to drive to my uncle's house. My 13 year old brother began to start to annoy me. "Dude stop." I said slapping his hand. "Owww mami! Y/n hit me." My eyes widened along with my mouth. "No I didn't!" Denying the truth. "You both are so annoying." My mom groaned.
7:15 p.m
We arrived and saw a lot of people there my family and I went to sit at a table while my little siblings went to the jumper. A few minuets later I got a message from Alex saying he and his family arrive. "Ma I'll be back, Alex is here." I said. She nodded and I left the table. I walked to the street seeing Alex's figure leaning on his car as his mom was getting henry, I saw Emrick and Emma arguing like always. I walked towards Alex and his mom noticed me right away.
"Y/n!" She said holding henry. "Hola!" I smiled and hugged her. I went to say hi to Emrick and Emma then I walked to Alex. "Hey babe." He said giving me a kiss. "Hey love." I smiled. I led them into the party and led them to the table we were sitting at. Jacob being the annoying ass older brother he is stole Alex away from me not letting me talk to him. I began to talk to emma about make up and random shit. A lot of people including my parents were to the dance floor and began dancing. Alex looked at me and smiled, I smiled back and he got up. I thought he was gonna go get more food but he put his hand out so we can go dance. I took his hand and went to the dance floor. We began to dance along with the music that was blasting out of speakers. He spun me around which made me giggle. A lot of people gathered around us and cheered us on as we were dancing. A few minuets later we went back to the table.
"You're a really good dancer did you know that?" I said. He smiled and whispered in my ear. "I'm also really good at other things." He said and winked. I laughed and kissed him. I started talking and introducing my family members to Alex. They all surprisingly like him, my last boyfriend was hated by everyone. I was glad everyone liked Alex. I mean who wouldn't? It was now 1:00 a.m and everyone was leaving. We decided to leave as well. My mom and dad gathered my siblings and we started walking out with Alex's family. Alex and I were walking behind everyone as we held hands. "I love you a lot do you know that?" He smiled. "Yes I do and I hope you know that too." I said and kissed him. We all went to our separate cars and left.
