Pearl stands with both hands grasped tightly to the handrail on the front porch. Her hands were spaced farther away from each other and she stood in a posture that made her seem really tense.
She tilted her head upwards and viewed the world around her. Everything was calm. She could see the undulated waves crashing gently on the shore, the dark violet sky with clouds that were shown in serene patterns, and Garnet sitting at the edge of the beach with both her arms legs crossed ...Wait..Garnet!? What is she doing out here?? Pearl asks herself. Pearl could see that she was concentrating—She was talking to herself as two people instead of one person (something that she rarely does).
Pearl's curiosity overpowered her rationality; What's she doing? Is she keeping secrets from us? So she kept quiet and started to spy. "We need a split up!" Garnet yells at herself "But If we split up than the others will know something is going on!" She replies. "If we can't work this out we are going to split up anyways!"
Pearl stands aimlessly in shock. Garnet starts to glow-One half of her body red and the another half turns blue. Garnet slowly starts phasing out and Ruby and Sapphire spew out of her.
Garnet unfuses.
It's not often Garnet unfuses but with all the drama going around with the diamonds, Pearl is not as surprised. But why? And what could they possibly be fighting over!? Pearl still remains silent and watches from the view of the front porch.
"ARRG YOUR SO-" Ruby starts out trying to find the perfect name to call Sapphire. She swells up in frustration and just continues with "-ARGG".
Sapphire is more relaxed than Ruby, she stands at good posture and clasps her hands below her stomach all proper like.
"Ruby your being too loud. We have to go our separate ways before someone hears us fighting and-" Sapphire stops. She senses a nearby presents. "And what?" Ruby says annoyed. "Shhh..someone's listening in on our conversation." Sapphire says putting a finger to Ruby's lips. Ruby grabs Sapphire's hand and pushes it away "That's Ridiculous Sapphire!"
Sapphire, getting impatient, replies "You and your big mouth!" Sapphire starts to loose her composure for Ruby. She starts trembling in anger as her ice powers rapidly break out causing the ground beneath her feet to spike up into A frigid jagged ice platform. Sapphire, who usually stays pretty tranquil in a bad situation, starts releasing her anger. She digresses and says "Pearl? I have future vision..I know your there.." Pearl hurriedly runs down the stairs leading to the beach. She starts flailing her arms yelling "GARNET NO!! You can't split up! Not now!!" in panic.
"Until we manage ourselves we have no choice but to stay apart." Sapphire replies without any visible tension. "That's right Pearl! We are on a break!" Ruby pouts. She slides closer to Pearl and whispers "It's mostly her fault.."
Sapphire clenches her fists out of anger and what seems to resemble the formation of ice grows off her knuckles for a brief moment. "I heard that." She says. Pearl shakes her head I can't believe this is happening. "So um...Why did you split up exactly?" Pearl says starting to realize this is probably no big deal. Sapphire and Ruby both go silent. They look at each other awkwardly and look back at Pearl. Ruby, not being able to stay quiet for long, responds "Non of your business Pearl!" Pearl's jaw dropped and she squinted her eyes. Even though Ruby was a ruby she usually had a kinder heart than most rubies. Pearl lifted her jaw back into its normal position and walked back into the house. Geez, whats with these two? I'm sure they'll figure it out..
